A new online 明言する／公表する 年金 最高の，を越す-up service is 延期するd, にもかかわらず 政府 保証／確信s it should be ready by the end of the 財政上の year.

No start date has been given for the service, which will 許す people to check if buying 最高の，を越す-ups will 上げる their 明言する／公表する 年金 and to make 支払い（額）s.

The system 現在／一般に 伴う／関わるs phoning both the Department for Work and 年金s and HMRC, which run the system between them.

The 政府 now says the online service will be introduced as soon as possible after the usual update to the Nation al 保険 system at the start of the new 税金 year.

HMRC and the DWP say the 開始する，打ち上げる will happen after the NI system update so 顧客s can continuously 接近 the service without interruption to availability.

However, for months they told us the new service 'is 推定する／予想するd to be ready later this 財政上の year'. And the 年次の NI system update was known about, so it looks like something must have slipped.

Some savers are likely to be 延期するing buying 最高の，を越す-ups until an online service is 利用できる in the 期待 that the 購入（する） 過程 will be simpler and easier.

Buying 最高の，を越す-ups can give a generous 上げる to 退職 income if you buy the 訂正する years on your 記録，記録的な／記録する - see below.

However, after 支払い（額） for extra 出資／貢献s is taken, HMRC still has to update 国家の 保険 記録，記録的な／記録するs, then the DWP recalculates 明言する／公表する 年金 予測（する）s or 支払い（額）s.

It is 不明瞭な if these 行う／開催する／段階s will be 簡素化するd, or if enough staff will be in place to make sure the whole system does not '落ちる over' under a new 殺到する of 最高の，を越す-up 購入（する）s.

失望させるd savers have complained of 大混乱 and long 延期するs since 早期に 2023, when the system was 圧倒するd ahead of a crunch 最終期限 - 最終的に 軍隊ing the 政府 to 延長する it twice, now to April 2025.

Buying 明言する／公表する 年金 最高の，を越す-ups?

The 明言する／公表する 年金 will be 価値（がある） £11,500 a year from 8 April if you qualify for the 十分な 率.

最高の，を越す-up prices for older years are frozen until April 2025.

And you can continue to 利益 from a special 譲歩 許すing you to fill up or buy extra 明言する／公表する 年金 qualifying years going 支援する to 2006/07, rather than just the typical six years.

But it can be hard to work out which years if any will 利益 you 個々に, and the 政府 itself and other money 専門家s 警告する you should check with the DWP before 手渡すing over your cash.

Former 年金s 大臣 Steve Webb says: 'Having been 繰り返して 約束d that this new service would go live by the end of the 税金 year, it is 深く，強烈に disappointing that there is now to be a 延期する.

'At 現在の people still have to 戦う／戦い through two different 政府 phone lines to find out where they stand regarding 明言する／公表する 年金 最高の，を越す-ups and then arranging to make the 支払い（額）.'

Webb, who is This is Money's 年金s columnist and a partner at LCP, 追加するs: 'An online service could be a big 改良, 供給するd that HMRC and DWP staff have been put in place to を取り引きする the 可能性のある flood of 最高の，を越す-ups.

The DWP and HMRC say the 大多数 of people, 含むing those living abroad wanting to make voluntary 出資／貢献s for years they were in the UK, should be able to take advantage of the new online service once 開発 and 実験（する）ing is 完全にする.

At the end of January, a 数字表示式の 使用／適用 過程 for 最高の，を越す-ups covering periods spent living or working abroad was 開始する，打ち上げるd, meaning people no longer have to 地位，任命する a CF83 form.

A 政府 spokesperson said: 'A new online service to 許す most people to see if making voluntary 出資／貢献s would 増加する their 明言する／公表する 年金, and make 支払い（額）s, will be 開始する，打ち上げるd soon. More （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） will be 解放（する）d in 予定 course.

'Over the last year, hundreds of thousands of people have 接触するd us about voluntary 出資／貢献s, with the 広大な 大多数 of 支払い（額）s resulting in 記録，記録的な／記録するs 存在 updated within days.
