You shouldn't bank on an 相続物件 windfall: Many people discover they will get nothing, 研究 discovers

Millions are making 計画(する)s around an 相続物件 they will never receive, 研究 by will 令状ing service Farewill shows.

Some 3.5million people have made 財政上の 計画(する)s to spend 推定する/予想するd 相続するd family wealth, only to be disappointed when their loved ones pass away and they receive nothing.

Almost one in four 18 to 24-year olds have been blindsided by a 欠如(する) of 相続するd 基金s. This 減少(する)s to just over one in six for 25 to 34-year-olds.

The 重要な mistakes that 妨げる 親族s from receiving the fortune they 推定する/予想するd is when people fail to update their wills or discuss their 計画(する)s with family.

Nearly half of adults 収容する/認める to never updating their will - and 47 per cent of people who have updated their will have not done so in more than ten years.

What about 相続物件 税金???

If you do ーするつもりである to leave money, 所有物/資産/財産 or other 資産s behind for your family, this could also lead to 複雑化s as they may need to 支払う/賃金 相続物件 税金 on it.?

Most 広い地所s don't get 攻撃する,衝突する by 相続物件 税金, but it still manages to be 定期的に dubbed Britain's most hated 税金.

It is 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金d at 40 per cent on 資産s above the 相続物件 税金 threshold when people die and has long been the 支配する of 批評.

You need to be 価値(がある) £325,000 if you are 選び出す/独身, or £650,000 共同で if you are married or in a civil 共同, for your loved ones to have to stump up death 義務s.

But there is a その上の chunky allowance which 増加するs the threshold to a 共同の £1million if you have a partner, own a 所有物/資産/財産, and ーするつもりである to leave money to your direct 子孫s.

Once an 広い地所 reaches £2million this own home allowance starts 存在 除去するd by £1 for every £2 above this threshold. It 消えるs 完全に by £2.3million

If you are 価値(がある) more than this, your 受益者s will have to を引き渡す 40 per cent of your 資産s above those levels to the 政府.

Luckily there are many 合法的な ways to dodge the dreaded 40 per cent 'death 税金' if you want to pass on the 最大限 sum possible and are 用意が出来ている to 計画(する) ahead.

There have also been calls to end some of the 税金 削減(する)s afforded to families who 相続する money from a loved one.?
