It will be little なぐさみ for the loss of your health, but there are ways to use your 年金 マリファナ to relieve money troubles should you find yourself in this sad 状況/情勢.

Pension advice: Contact your present and all your past pension schemes to explain your medical situation and find out about any enhanced benefits

年金 advice: 接触する your 現在の and all your past 年金 計画/陰謀s to explain your 医療の 状況/情勢 and find out about any 高めるd 利益s

There are a host of different factors that will 決定する h ow much 余裕/偏流 you have to draw on your 年金, 削除する your 税金 法案 or 上げる bequests to loved ones.

These 含む your age, how ill you are, and whether you have a 保証(人)d final salary 年金 or a defined 出資/貢献 マリファナ that is 投資するd to 供給する for your 退職 needs.

Here we 申し込む/申し出 a 一連の会議、交渉/完成する-up of your 年金 選択s if you 落ちる very ill. However, 年金 専門家s 強調する/ストレス that it is wise to get 財政上の advice should you find yourself in these circumstances.

This is 特に the 事例/患者 if your personal 事件/事情/状勢s are 複雑にするd, you have dependants to take care of, or you have a sizeable 年金 マリファナ.

Ill health: No longer fit to work

* How ill are you? If you have a workplace or personal 年金 you may be able to 接近 an income or lump sum at any age. But to be able to do that before age 55 you will need to get qualified 医療の advice 確認するing that you are too ill to continue in your 現在の 職業 and have 中止するd to carry on that 占領/職業, によれば Jon Greer, 長,率いる of 退職 政策 at Quilter.?

'It is important to check the 支配するs of the 年金 計画/陰謀 as some may have a 厳格な人 ill-health 鮮明度/定義s than others, for example 要求するing the member to be incapable of carrying out any 占領/職業.'

* How old are you, and how does this 影響する/感情 your 税金 法案? 'If a person is in ill health it is possible to take their 年金 利益s 関わりなく their age at the time,' says Greer.

普通は, you can't 接近 your 退職 貯金 before the age of 55 without 直面するing a swingeing 税金 法案.

But if you are ill and 老年の under 55, you can take your 年金 under the same 税金 支配するs as over-55s. This means you can get 25 per cent 税金-解放する/自由な, while the 残り/休憩(する) is 税金d at your 所得税 率 of 20 per cent, 40 per cent or 45 per cent.

* What if you have a defined 出資/貢献 年金? You can take your マリファナ and spend, save or 投資する it as you wish, but your choices might be different than if you were in good health.

For instance, you might not be 利益/興味d in having a 保証(人)d income until you die if you don't 推定する/予想する to live long, or in 投資するing to eke out your money as long as possible. Instead, you might have a greater short-称する,呼ぶ/期間/用語 need for cash, or want to arrange your 事件/事情/状勢s to maximise bequests.

New rules: Trustees of a final salary pension scheme are permitted to pay the pension early in some cases?

New 支配するs: Trustees of a final salary 年金 計画/陰謀 are permitted to 支払う/賃金 the 年金 早期に in some 事例/患者s?

* What if you have a final salary 年金? This 伝統的に generous type of work 年金 供給するs a 保証(人)d income for life.

Greer says: 'The trustees of the 年金 計画/陰謀 are permitted to 支払う/賃金 the 年金 早期に without any 削減s made for 早期に 支払い(額). However, it is 極端に important to get in 接触する with the 計画/陰謀 to find out what the trustees of the 計画/陰謀 are willing to 申し込む/申し出.

'If your defined 利益 計画/陰謀 許すs you to take your 年金 早期に then they may still be able to 減ずる or stop it at any time if you subsequently 回復する or 部分的に/不公平に 回復する from ill-health.'

* What if you 推定する/予想する your health to より悪くする 意味ありげに??You might save more 税金 if you 延期する touching your 年金.??

This is because people whose doctors give them just one year to live get more favourable 税金 治療, but not if they have already 接近d their 年金. See below for more 詳細(に述べる)s.

Serious ill health: いっそう少なく than a year to live

* How ill are you? 'If a person is 苦しむing from serious ill-health it is possible for them to take all of their 年金 利益s as a lump sum 支払い(額),' says Greer.

'Before making the 支払い(額) the 年金 計画/陰謀 must have received written 証拠 from a 登録(する)d 医療の practitioner 確認するing that the person is 推定する/予想するd to live for いっそう少なく than a year. The lump sum 支払い(額) can only be made in 尊敬(する)・点 of 未使用の 年金 基金s, known as uncrystallised 基金s.'

Terrible news: Falling too ill to provide for yourself and your family is a devastating personal blow, and will very likely throw your finances into disarray too

Terrible news: 落ちるing too ill to 供給する for yourself and your family is a 破滅的な personal blow, and will very likely throw your 財政/金融s into 混乱 too

* How old are you, and how does this 影響する/感情 your 税金 法案? 'There is no 税金 to 支払う/賃金 on the lump sum if the person is under the age of 75, as long as they have enough 利用できる lifetime allowance to cover the 支払い(額),' says Greer.

The lifetime allowance 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金s were 解除するd last April but the LTA itself remains 法律 until April 2024, and it is £1,073,100. Anything in your 年金 マリファナ above the 限界 will be 支配する to 所得税 at the 受取人's ごくわずかの 率.

The position may be わずかに different from next April when the lifetime allowance is finally 廃止するd ? it’s too 早期に to say what the 税金 治療 will definitely be though, によれば Greer.

He 追加するs: 'A serious ill health lump sum paid to a person who has reached the age of 75 is 支配する to 所得税 at ごくわずかの 率s (20 per cent, 40 per cent or 45 per cent depending on the size of the 支払い(額)). As an 代案/選択肢, they could consider taking their 年金 基金 as a lump sum using flexi-接近 drawdown.

The lifetime allowance is 現在/一般に £1,073,100. Anything in your 年金 マリファナ above the 限界 is 攻撃する,衝突する with a 55 per cent 税金 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金.

Greer 追加するs: 'A serious ill health lump sum paid to a person who has reached the age of 75 is 支配する to 所得税 at ごくわずかの 率s (20 per cent, 40 per cent or 45 per cent depending on the size of the 支払い(額)). As an 代案/選択肢, they could consider taking their 年金 基金 as a lump sum using flexi-接近 drawdown.< /p>

'This means up to 25 per cent of the lump sum could be taken as 税金-解放する/自由な cash and the 残りの人,物 支配する to 所得税 at their ごくわずかの 率.'

* What if you have a defined 出資/貢献 年金??If you are in serious ill health, meaning you're ありそうもない to live for 12 months, your whole 年金 can be 解放(する)d as a lump sum 税金 解放する/自由な, but you must be 老年の under 75.

Jon Greer:?'If a person is suffering from serious ill-health it is possible for them to take all of their pension benefits as a lump sum payment'

Jon Greer:?'If a person is 苦しむing from serious ill-health it is possible for them to take all of their 年金 利益s as a lump sum 支払い(額)'

* What if you have a final salary 年金??This will be 決定するd by what the 計画/陰謀 支配するs 供給する, and can depend on whether you are still active?

If you are 活発に 与える/捧げるing, your money may be r eleased without any 削減s, but if it is frozen then you might not get the 十分な 量.

In the latter 事例/患者, it might be better to find out the 移転 value of your マリファナ and take it どこかよそで instead. See below for more 詳細(に述べる)s.

Greer says that trustees might 許す a person to 減刑する/通勤する their 年金 for a serious ill-health lump sum, which can 利益 some people.

But he 警告を与えるs: 'Spouses, civil partners and other dependants are typically する権利を与えるd to some income from the 計画/陰謀 に引き続いて the death of the 計画/陰謀 member. So it is important to check what’s on 申し込む/申し出.'?

Should you 移転 your 年金 マリファナ?

* What if your final salary 年金 is too 制限する given your illness??For someone with a 縮めるd life 見込み 予定 to ill health, they may consider whether a 移転 out of the final salary 計画/陰謀 is in their best 利益/興味

Greer 警告するs that anyone with a final salary マリファナ 価値(がある) more than £30,000 must take advice from a professional 独立した・無所属 財政上の 助言者 before they are 許すd to 移転 it.

'Whether taking advice or not, it is very important to think through your 選択s carefully because in some 事例/患者s, 活動/戦闘s taken to 改善する the efficiency of 年金 貯金, 特に in the 事例/患者 of ill-health, could lead to some unintended repercussions.'

* Are there any other 相続物件 障害s ? 'In most circumstances, 相続物件 税金 no longer 適用するs to death 利益s paid by 年金 計画/陰謀s, whether paid as lump sums or income,' says Greer.

'However,?any money taken out of the 年金 becomes part of your 広い地所, which means it could be 支配する to 相続物件 税金. In 新規加入, if you 移転 年金 権利s from one?年金 計画/陰謀 to another, perhaps because another 計画/陰謀 申し込む/申し出s greater?利益s on death, then HMRC would みなす that they made a fresh disposition of their death 利益s.

'This is a 移転 of value for IHT 目的s, and could create a 可能性のある IHT 義務/負債 on death if the member’s life 見込み was impaired when they made the 移転 and they died within the に引き続いて two years.

Leaving a 年金 to loved ones

受益者s of?年金 マリファナs in income drawdown either 支払う/賃金 no 税金 if the owner dies before age 75?and the (人命などを)奪う,主張する is paid within two years, or their normal 所得税 率 - with the money they receive 追加するd to their 収入s to calculate this - if they are 75 or over.

Also, husbands and wives whose partners die before reaching 75 can now get annuity income from their spouse's 年金 税金-解放する/自由な.?

以前 受益者s of '共同の life' annuities or other types that come with death 利益s paid 所得税 on what they received.

However, the changes have not 影響する/感情d people in final salary 年金s - 普通は considered the best and most generous 計画/陰謀s - meaning some people could be tempted to 移転 out of them ーするために leave money to their families.

Income from a final salary 年金 一般に 中止するs on the death of the member and their spouse.?

What about your 明言する/公表する 年金 - can you get that 早期に 予定 to ill health?

No. The earliest age you can receive the 明言する/公表する 年金 is your 明言する/公表する 年金 age. But if you retire 早期に because of ill health, you may be する権利を与えるd to other 利益s like 全世界の/万国共通の credit, statutory sick 支払う/賃金 or 雇用 and support allowance.?

There are calculators on the Gov.uk website that will tell you what 利益s you could get.

For people with 終点 illness there are special 支配するs that may mean you get 利益s at a higher 率 and get 支払い(額)s quicker than usual.?
