You can 適用する for 基金ing known as 'NHS continuing healthcare' for yourself, or a loved one - but the 査定/評価s and red tape can be challenging.?

James Urquhart-Burton, partner at Ridley & Hall Solicitors and an 専門家 in care 基金ing, explains how to make an 使用/適用 for NHS CHC.

If you or a 親族 have 相当な needs arising from any health 条件, you should 調査する whether the NHS continuing healthcare 基金 should be 支払う/賃金ing 100 per cent of the care 料金s.

適格(性) for this 基金ing should be 査定する/(税金などを)課すd, whether you have just started having a ca re 一括 or received care for a long time.

It's never too late to ask for an 査定/評価 of 適格(性), which is decided by your 地元の 臨床の (売買)手数料,委託(する)/委員会/権限ing Group, but you will have to be proactive.

The CCG is not always やむを得ず aware of who you are or that you have 相当な care needs and need an 査定/評価.

It's really important that you know about your 権利 to an 査定/評価, how to ask for it and how to maximise your chances of 存在 設立する 適格の to have your care 料金s paid.

NHS CHC can be 認めるd for care in your own home, in a 居住の care home or in a nursing home, and where you live shouldn’t 影響する/感情 your 適格(性).

Whether your 財政/金融s are at 火刑/賭ける or you are 事実上の/代理 on に代わって of a 親族 who is forking out their life 貯金 or selling their home to 支払う/賃金 for their care, it is 決定的な to 定期的に check your 適格(性), さもなければ you could be spending thousands of 続けざまに猛撃するs needlessly.

There is an 初期の 査定/評価, and if you get through that a second, more 詳細(に述べる)d one will follow. Here are the steps you need to take.

1. 接触する your CCG about an 査定/評価

To find the 接触する 詳細(に述べる)s for your CCG, search for your GP 外科 here.

The 指名する of the CCG will appear at the 底(に届く) of your GP 外科 詳細(に述べる)s page. Click on the CCG for its 十分な 接触する 詳細(に述べる)s.

Make your request for an 査定/評価 in 令状ing, 含む the date and keep a copy, so that you can 証明する when you requested it in 事例/患者 it is overlooked.

A 重要な point to 公式文書,認める is that if you have been 支払う/賃金ing for care for a while now and believe you should have had an 査定/評価 some time ago, you can also ask the CCG to 請け負う a 'retrospective 査定/評価 of your 適格(性)'.

If the CCG decides that you should have be en 適格の for some time, it is 強いるd to refund you the care 料金s you have already paid.

2. 準備する for an 査定/評価 of your 適格(性)

The CCG should make 手はず/準備 for an ‘NHS checklist’ to be 完全にするd. You should familiarise yourself with this 文書 in 前進する of your 査定/評価 会合. You can find it here.

If you can, it's helpful to print a copy of the checklist. Work through it yourself 完全に in 前進する of your 会合, or have a 親族 do it with you.

得点する/非難する/20 your needs based on what you think - if you know that you are at a high 危険 of 落ちるs, give yourself an 'A' for mobility.

How much does 居住の care cost??

3. Make your opinions known at the 査定/評価

The NHS checklist is not the main 査定/評価 of your 適格(性) but a quick 指示,表示する物 as to whether or not you need a 十分な NHS continuing healthcare 査定/評価.

The nurse or social 労働者 who 完全にするs your NHS checklist must get to 支配するs with all of your needs across the 'care domains'.

This means any needs you have in communication, mobility and 栄養 to 指名する only a few.

How is care paid for if you don't get NHS 基金ing?

Under the 現在の system someone's 資産s - 含むing the family home - is 使い果たすd 負かす/撃墜する to £23,250 if they need to go into a care home, 令状s This is Money.

If you need care in your own home, your 資産s must be 使い果たすd to a level 始める,決める by your 地元の 会議, which cannot be lower than £23,250, but your home is 除外するd from this means 実験(する).

Whatever the 決定/判定勝ち(する), 確実にする it is 確認するd in 令状ing and get a copy of your DST.

If you are 適格の for NHS CHC ? 井戸/弁護士席 done! The CCG will 支払う/賃金 for your care until your next review.

If you are not 適格の, consider whether you need to 控訴,上告.

Think about whether your needs have been under-査定する/(税金などを)課すd. You will usually only have six months to 控訴,上告. Do so in 令状ing and to gather any 証拠 you feel you may need.

You do not やむを得ず need a professional 助言者 to help you with NHS CHC 査定/評価s or 控訴,上告s, but many people choose to engage one to help them 建設する persuasive arguments which are 支援するd up 井戸/弁護士席 with 証拠.
