When will energy 法案s 落ちる, and could the 直す/買収する,八百長をするd 関税 finally be making a return? This is Money podcast

We had some good news this week about our energy 法案s - or did we?

Ofgem's price cap is coming 負かす/撃墜する - saving 世帯s around £400 a year on 普通の/平均(する).

The last 18 months have been horrendous for 世帯s, so bad the 政府 had to step in in October and introduce a price 凍結する - but that was still 二塁打 what the typical 法案 payer would have had to fork out a year 以前.

And although the cap is coming 負かす/撃墜する, the 除去 of 政府 認めるs means most people will 現実に only be saving about £19 per month, or £225 per year.

So what will we have to 支払う/賃金 when the new cap starts in July, will 法案s keep going 負かす/撃墜する, and when will energy companies start under-cutting the price cap with 直す/買収する,八百長をするd 関税s again?

On this podcast, Georgie 霜, Helen Crane and Simon Lambert discuss when energy 法案s might go 支援する to 'normal' an d whether we should jump on 直す/買収する,八百長をするd 取引,協定s when they return, or 扱う/治療する them with 警告を与える.

We also got the 最新の UK インフレーション 人物/姿/数字s this week. にもかかわらず a not insignificant 減少(する) from 10.1 per cent to 8.7 per cent in April, 専門家s are pricing in another 利益/興味 率 rise - and that is partly 負かす/撃墜する to a surprise jump in something called 核心 インフレーション.

We explain what that is, and discuss just how high the base 率 might go.

Mortgage 率s have also been on the rise, with major 貸す人 全国的な 引き上げ(る)ing its 直す/買収する,八百長をするd and tracker mortgage 率s by up to 0.45 per cent の中で others.

We look at why that is happening, and take in some advice from 仲買人s on what those with a remortgage 最終期限 coming up should do.

But with bad news for mortgage 支えるもの/所有者s comes good news for savers, with 平易な-接近 率s 辛勝する/優位ing ever closer to 4 per cent. We 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) the best buys.

The US 負債 天井 has also been in the news this week, as the two main parties have so far failed to strike a 取引,協定 for it to be raised.?

If that doesn't happen quickly enough, the world's biggest economy could default on its 負債s - but what 正確に/まさに would that mean, and how big is the 危険?

Finally, with warmer 天候 on the way we discuss 'campervanflation' and why the younger 世代 can't seem to get enough of the classic VW Camper.
