Just how bad was Christmas for Britain’s shops? Retailers sounded the alarm 早期に when advent brought a string of 警告s about a terrible November, but this week we started to find out what the 決定的な festive period really brought.

A 急ぐ of results arrived, as everyone from the big supermarkets to M&S, Debenhams and John 吊りくさび updated on Christmas sales.
