A rare £2 Lord Kitchener coin 造幣局d in 2014 has sold for £1,000 at an auction today.

It was 概算の the coin would fetch between £600 to £800.

It was bought by an American 入札者 at the live auction by RWB this afternoon.?

The coin is 行方不明の the words 'Two 続けざまに猛撃するs' on the 逆転する, an ultra rare error which has been authenticated by the 王室の 造幣局.

This £2 coin was 問題/発行するd in 2014 to 示す 100 years since the 突発/発生 of the First World War.

It features a 'Your Country Needs You' 新採用するing poster with an image of Field Marshall Kitchener on the obverse.

There were 5,720,000 of these coins that entered 循環/発行部数, meaning it could be やめる 平易な to つまずく across one in your change.

Without th e error, the coin is not 特に 重要な.

However, a small unknown number of the coins could have entered 循環/発行部数 without the 'Two 続けざまに猛撃するs' denomination on the 逆転する, meaning the 追跡(する) is on for more to be discovered.

There have only been two 報告(する)/憶測s of these 'error' coins 存在 設立する in 循環/発行部数 によれば Change Checker.

A 1990 error 20p coin struck on a bronze 1p blank fetched £200 at the auction.

It reads: 'The piece is of the incorrect composition for a twenty pence piece, underweight, and features わずかに 一連の会議、交渉/完成するd 辛勝する/優位s 一貫した with the blank 存在 unsuitable in size for the collar in which it was struck.

'It appears in this instance that a bronze blank, most likely ーするつもりであるd for a 1p piece, has been struck between 20p dies.'

The coin has an error which features two dates - 2016 on the obverse and 2017 micro engraved on the 逆転する.

The tiny micro text around the 縁, 明白な under magnification shows '2017' rather than 2016 as would be 推定する/予想するd. The error was 確認するd by the 王室の 造幣局 in 2017.

The coin features a design by Christopher Le Brun on the obverse celebrating the 王室の Botanical Gardena, 描写するing the pagoda at Kew with a decorative vine twining in and around the tower and with the years '1759' and 2002' either 味方する of the word 'Kew'.

This coin was first 解放(する)d in 2009 to celebrate 250 years of the iconic West London 目印.
