One NS&I 顧客 - who we have not 指名するd at her request - 報告（する）／憶測d that she had been struggling to スピードを出す／記録につける into her NS&I account in the week running up to this month's 賞与金 社債s prize draw.

She told This is Money: 'I am at the end of my tether having never had problems before ? it's all 負かす／撃墜する to the new 2FA スピードを出す／記録につける-in.

'I've tried updating my browser, logging in from my phone and a laptop and nothing 作品.

'I input my スピードを出す／記録につける in 詳細（に述べる）s, it sends me a Pin, I put it in, and it takes me to the beginning again.

'I'm in my 早期に 70s, but am technologically 手がかり（を与える）d up ? I do all of my banking online for example without any problems, but have no 手がかり（を与える） what to try next.'

An NS&I 広報担当者 said: 'We identified that the tim e on this 顧客's laptop was incorrect, once this was updated she was able to スピードを出す／記録につける in.

This can happen because two-factor authentication is time 極度の慎重さを要する, so if the time on the 装置 you are trying to スピードを出す／記録につける in from, say your laptop for example, and your phone where you receive the code are out of sync by even 30 seconds, the code will not be 受託するd.

When the time on your 装置s goes out of sync, this is called time drift.?

You should also check your authenticator app settings in the main menu of the app, whether that is Google or Microsoft, and sync the date and time with your 装置.

NS&I said on its website that if you are having trouble logging in with two-factor authentication, one of the things you can do is 'check the time and date on your 装置 are 訂正する.'

On the morning of Monday 8 April, NS&I is carrying an error message on its website 明言する／公表するing: 'We're aware of an intermittent 問題／発行する with our website while logging in and are working hard to 直す／買収する，八百長をする this.?

'Thank you for your patience and sorry for any inconvenience this may 原因（となる）.'

One This is Money reporter tried to スピードを出す／記録につける-in this morning - and にもかかわらず never 直面するing a problem before, was unable to get in.

Other 顧客s have 報告（する）／憶測d on X that they have been struggling to スピードを出す／記録につける in. One 使用者, who has not been able to スピードを出す／記録につける in for three days said: 'Shocking 明言する／公表する. Total waste of time. Been trying to スピードを出す／記録につける into to the web 場所／位置 for the last three days.'

Another 顧客 said: 'I've been having trouble logging on to the website since Saturday, any ideas why?'

One 関心d 顧客 said: This sounds like a major problem NS&I... what's the problem? Have you been 切り開く／タクシー／不正アクセスd? Lost data?'.

This is Money asked NS&I whether the login problem is 予定 to a cyber attack. NS&I did not answer this but said they problem was 予定 to a flood of traffic from 顧客s checking 賞与金 社債s.?

An NS&I 広報担当者 said: 'We believe that this 問題／発行する was 原因（となる）d by an 増加する in website traffic and we are working to 解決する it.?

When the 顧客 got through to an NS&I 助言者 they said: 'He behaved and spoke as if he had no idea at all that there was a 場所／位置 問題／発行する'.?
