Is coin 造幣局ing about to become another lost British art? LEE BOYCE on the 王室の 造幣局's shock 決定／判定勝ち（する）
Seven years ago, I visited the 王室の 造幣局 in Llantrisant, むちの跡s to watch how coins are created.
This 含むd: the start, when a design is fleshed out; the middle, when they’re pickled; and end, when coins are spat out 経由で 抱擁する machines in perfect, 満足させるing まとまり.
It's a 正確な art and the 造幣局 is a 抱擁する 雇用者 in this part of the Welsh valleys, having moved to its 現在の 場所／位置 from London in the 1960s.

As a bit of a coin geek (I'm no collector, but I do enjoy the beauty of 通貨) it feels like a 抱擁する shame.

The move boils 負かす／撃墜する to two things. Firstly, profitability. Its 通貨 arm loses money and in 2022/23 these losses were up 191 per cent to £13.1million.

The 王室の 造幣局 told us it will no longer 企て，努力，提案 for 契約s to make international 広まる coins and will stop 生産／産物 when it fulfils its 存在するing orders in December.

I may be a little old school: I like carrying physical money in my wallet and when I go abroad, I always take 通貨 with me.
I don't use cash 排他的に, and card 支払い（額）s have their place, but physical money is still 決定的な in my 見解（をとる）.
科学（工学）技術 can fail, signal is often patchy to make 支払い（額）s, it's harder to 予算 and cash gives me the ability to make 購入（する）s without my bank knowing what I'm spending it on. A small victory in a world where we're ますます 跡をつけるd, our （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） a 商品／必需品.
A while 支援する, I went to my daughter's 最初の／主要な school to learn about how they're teaching maths, to help match up at home.
There was a section about learning to count coins, and one teacher said something along the lines of: 'although, that doesn't seem that 関連した anymore. When children play shops now, most of them pretend to tap a c ard, learned behaviour…'
I left a 公式文書，認める in the feedback form 説: 'Please keep teaching children about coins and 公式文書，認めるs. It's vitally important.'
The 造幣局 is keen to 強調する／ストレス that it will keep making UK 通貨, but with usage here dwindling too - it'll be 負かす／撃墜する to shoppers to 持続する the 需要・要求する, and thus 供給（する）, and parents to teach their children about physical cash.
For instance, for my daughter's 5th birthday, I took her to a toy shop with £100 cash ? and taught her how to 予算, showing what it would 許す her to buy, and she was fascinated.
But all of the above stokes 恐れるs in me physical cash is going to go the way of the dodo ? and then, we'll all be in a pickle.
