Australian petrolhead Reid Torr paid £43,400 for the blue Ferrari 360 Spider in the belief it was in a good 条件, when in fact it had been in a high-profile 粉砕する while owned by the former England striker.

The 裁判官 設立する that Mr Connor was 'liable in fraudulent misrepresentation' because he did not believe he was telling the truth when he 述べるd the car as 存在 in a good 条件.

The 法廷,裁判所 heard the car, which would have 小売d at £120,000 if new, had been owned by the former England and 兵器庫 星/主役にする and Match of the Day pundit.

However, it had 支えるd 厳しい 損失 when it was 衝突,墜落d into a tree in Ballard's Way, Croydon, with the former footballer at the wheel in July 2004.

He agreed to the 購入(する) and it was shipped in May 2013, after which it was quickly realised it did not match up to his 期待s, his barrister Stephanie Jarron said.

Mr Torr 最初 告訴するd Heathfield モーター Company and was awarded over £70,000 損害賠償金, but re ceived nothing because the company was put into voluntary liquidation.

He then 告訴するd Mr Connor 本人自身で, 最初 安全な・保証するing victory when a 裁判官 in 2019 設立する Mr Connor had made 'fraudulent 代表s' about the 明言する/公表する of the car.

However, the 判決,裁定 was overturned on 控訴,上告, before going 支援する before 裁判官 Robertson in January for a 決定/判定勝ち(する) whether the 誤った 代表s were 'fraudulent'.

In his defence, Mr Connor 否定するd that he was in any way dishonest, (人命などを)奪う,主張するing that at the time he made the 代表s to Mr Torr, he believed they were true.

He went on to find that Mr Connor had 'no basis for believing' that the Ferrari had factory-fitted Challenge Stradale bumpers or wheels.

'Mr Torr's (人命などを)奪う,主張する on the dishonesty 問題/発行する 後継するs,' he 結論するd. 'Mr Connor made the 代表s without belief in their truth and therefore fraudulently.'
