Strange is an unknown quantity at this point

Clear history isn't working well

Clear history only deletes the last video, or the last few videos... but not the whole list....
It happens like this:
I "Clear history"... the Recent files list gets deleted aparently.

then i close the program and when I open it again the history list is still there... but without the last file I opened
