2.41 freezes on close

When closing a movie on 2.41 it freezes and I have to go to task manager to kill it. (system: XP64). Haven't tested this on 2.42 but changelog doesn't suggest any fix to it. Has anyone else had this?

i have the same problem.
sometimes it closes just fine, other times it hangs and needs to be forced to close.
this happens with different files, different file types.

w7 rc 64 bit
bsplayer v2.43
