ac3 - SPDIF passthrough on vista 64

Hi,

Is there any way to use BsPlayer and AC3Filter to enable ac3 over SPDIF?

I read somewhere that BsPlayer must be compiled for 64 bit in order for it to work.

I think this option must be enabled in AC3Filter.

Open a file in BSPLayer (with AC3 audio) and open AC3Filter properties. On the uppr side of the config window you will have some labels tagged:
Main....Mixer....Gains...SPDIF...System....About

Go to SPDIF label and here you have the option "SPDIF passthrough"

I did that of course, It doesn't work. It says the device does not support AC3 and if I disable the check I don't hear any sound.

I will test myself monday the same thing. I have a Vista 64 machine at work.
