Excellent Tool for PPL. who like to change wall from time to time. it will be very handy if it can read directories other than the one in plugin.rc ++ if it can add more than one dir and then select random or sequentail from pics

It would be VERY nice if you could add some dirs instead of the Aston ones. Or if you could make some playlists and then load any of them, what you may wish at some times. This would save a LOT of time. Anyway, very nice job indeed.

Me again. Soon will be a whole year spent from my previous comment. Aston team hadn't updated this plugin, which is too bad. Hey, guys, I love and use Aston not only for its coolness and good looking, but also for its good plugins, which extend its functionality a great big deal. Conclusion: work also to improve the plugins, not only the shell itself. THIS would be respect for customer (even I am not one, lol)...

You don't need to put the images in any special directory. Right-click your desktop and choose "Wallpaper". Click the "Add..." button and find a picture you want to use. "Apply" one of the pictures and you're set.

I like it, works pretty fine, but hey it has been told before, it would be a lot better if you can add another dir for my wallpapers, it takes a lot of time to add then all..

It drives me crazy when I have to add my 500+ wallpapers by hand and I cannot just put them into a folder. I wish there would be an update for this. Also I hope that a better support for png and gif wallpapers would be implemented.

great tool. next version needs to do a aston desktop refresh after changing wallpaper. it currently leaves residuals around the top bar navigation buttons from previous wallpaper until i do a full application window and then return to the aston desktop; it is then "clean". thanks for time, efforts, and sharing.

This is a great plugin. For those who are having problem adding 500+ images. The wallpapers are stored in the plugins.rc file under the [Wallpaper] section. I wrote a small (20 lines) PHP code that will generate the needed text from a directory. It searches subdirectories too. Then you just simply add the text in the plugins.rc file. No restart is required, and you will have all your images added. Though for 500+ images the text can become quite large, around 80-100 KB. If anyone is interested I can show the code, or maybe write a small desktop app for it. Though I program exclusively for web since years, so I kinda forgot how to do that ;(
