This application allows you to easily manage all your processes, optimize their priority and adjust the execution priority of every single application according to your needs.

Process Priority Optimizer will display all your currently running processes and their priority, along with other information such as CPU, CPU Time or CPU Afinity. By right-clicking on any selected process in the list you will be able to kill it, change its priority or display detailed information about it. One can also set a shutdown time so that all unwanted processes to be automatically killed.

The program runs in the background and boosts the processes whenever it’s necessary. Moreover, due to its Anti-LockUp feature, every time a process uses too much CPU its priority class will be automatically decreased.

Optimize Windows processes

Process Priority Optimizer is a process priority class optimizer for Windows NT/XP/Vista/7 systems through psapi.dll.

The default setings should be ok for a regular user.

There is a safety switch that will turn off optimizing if the cycle's length is greater then the preset. Setting the optimizing cycle lower will react to boosting mechanism only.

Setting the managing profiles refresh to smaller value speeds up the auto-set class priorities task. Optimizing cycle timing also affects the Anti-LockUp (automatic priority class lowering function) reaction speed.
