ICEMail Properties Information

ICEMail Properties Information

Root Stores Property - ICEMail.rootStoreList

The 'ICEMail.rootStoreList' property is a colon separated list of store identifiers. The user makes up the identifier names. They are used only to find related properties from the properties.txt file, and as the names displayed for the stores in the store tree.

For each store listed in the 'rootStoreList', there are two related properties:

Where 'ID' is the store identifier.

The storeURL property specifies the URL for the store. The storeNameSpace property specifies the NameSpace string to use when listing folders in the store. Namespace specifiers only work with some stores, such as IMAP. If you use MH for your email store, then you would use a NameSpace of "#mh/".

If you do not understand how to specify your stores via the URL syntax specified in the properties.txt file, you will need to refer to the Mail URL Syntax document for further details.

Signature - ICEMail.signature

The 'ICEMail.signature' property string property that is the default signature that is appended to all mail compositions. It is possible to use more than one signature in ICEMail. See the ICEMail.signatureList property for details on multiple signatures.

Multiple Signatures - ICEMail.signatureList

The 'ICEMail.signatureList' property is a colon separated list of signature property names. For each name in the list, there is a related property named "ICEMail.signature.NAME", where "NAME" is the name from the signature list.
