In May 1989 AT&T issued a patch for the fsck command that fixed problems with large 1k and 2k filesystems, and we figure we can get away with making this available here. The docs suggest that it's only applicable to certain releases, so we suggest you check out the README to be sure.

The files in the patch are:

• README.fsck.txt - instructions
• fsck1K - fsck binary for 1kbyte filesystems
• fsck2K - fsck binary for 2kbyte filesystems
• fsck512 - fsck binary for 512 byte filesystems
• install.fsck - shell script
• fsck.cpio - CPIO bundle of the above five files
