Enable and use Priority Inbox in New Yahoo Mail
Keep your inbox nice and tidy using the Inbox categories feature. All your messages will be organized by category, including a priority tab which will focus on personal and time sensitive messages.?
Enable Inbox categories to use the Priority tab
- Click the More options icon
| select Settings 
. - Click Personalize inbox.
- Click the Toggle icon
to enable Inbox Categories.
Once you've enabled Inbox categories, your mail will be automatically sorted into to the following:
- All - All messages in your inbox
- Priority - Personal messages, bills, orders, and other important messages
- Offers - Deals and promotions
- Social - Updates from social media sites
- Newsletters - Newsletters you subscribe to
Switch between expanded and compact view
Since your Priority tab will often have important info for you, you'll have the ability to decide if you want to keep the messages in the compact view or get a little more info on what's inside with the expanded view.
- Click the Expanded view icon
to show more info on your emails. - Click the Compact view icon
to show less info on your emails.
