Change your sending name in New Yahoo Mail
If you got married, changed your name, or just want to reinvent yourself you can easily do it in New Yahoo Mail by changing your sending name, that is displayed to your recipients when they receive an email from you.
- Sign in to Yahoo Mail.
- Click the More options icon
| select Settings 
. - Click Mailboxes.
- Select the account you want to edit.
- Click under 'Your name' to delete or edit your sending name.
- Scroll down and click Save.
? Still not seeing the right sending name? Some third-party apps and email clients have their own sending name setting, which bypasses the New Yahoo Mail setting. If they show a different name than the one saved in your New Yahoo Mail settings, update those settings or contact the manufacturer for assistance.
