Send messages from or delete an extra email address

An extra email address gives you all the benefits of 2 email addresses without any of the added hassle. Enjoy conveniences such as one password and a centralized Inbox for all your emails.
Send email from an extra email address
- Compose a new email.
- Select your extra email address in the "From" pull-down menu.
- Address and compose your email.
- Click Send.
Set your default sending address
- Click the Settings icon
| Click More Settings 
. - Click Writing email.
- From the "Default sending address," select your extra email address.
Delete your extra email address
It's no longer possible to create an extra email address. If you delete your existing extra email address, you won't be able to create another one.
- Click the Settings icon | Click More Settings .
- Click Mailboxes.
- Besides "Email alias," click the Expand icon
. - Click your extra email address.
- Click Remove alias.
