That's what it felt like 負かす／撃墜する here in the sweaty seats, anyway.

Mr Brown had been 軍隊d to 退却／保養地 from a 政策 for which he alone was responsible.

Made to look a fool by his old 敵 Frank Field.

That was the hot gossip as MPs packed into the 議会 の直前に noon and swelled the 空気／公表する with chunter and bloodthirsty excitement.

Questions to the Scottish 長官 were 事実上 inaudible, such was the buzz.

He called off that 選挙 because he thought he might lose.

Same with the 10p 税金 禁止（する）d 列／漕ぐ／騒動. He thought he'd lose the ありふれたs 投票（する） and therefore 洞穴d in to 労働 反体制者s.

Mr Brown seemed 気が進まない to look his tormentor straight-on.

He buried his snout in all those inky-scrawled sheets of A4 paper, a haphazard pile of 覚え書きs-to-self scratched by some 厚い, 緊急の, 地震ing nib.

Lord knows what police graphologists would make of the PM's 公式文書，認めるs. '"We've got a 権利 oddball here, Sarge."

The much-chewed fingers of Mr Brown's left 手渡す kept clutching and unclutching a red pen.

That one really must have stung.

The House, in 十分な yabbadabbado 方式, seemed almost to 凍結する for a nanosecond, an ocean liner struck by a 広大な wave.

Gorbals Mick told off the "Lord High （ドイツなどの）首相／（大学の）学長" (Jack Straw) for heckling Mr Cameron.

In a flash Mr Cameron cried: "It's not often you have to give the Lord （ドイツなどの）首相／（大学の）学長 an Asbo." Now that one can't have been rehearsed.

His good luck might not last but this guy is really モーターing at the moment.

Mr Brown, 一方／合間, seems to have conked out in the 急速な／放蕩な 小道／航路.
