Last week, I hosted a 議会の 要点説明 with two 勇敢に立ち向かう 僕主主義 行動主義者s from Hong Kong. Both have a £100,000 bounty on their 長，率いるs, thanks to the Hong Kong police and their Chinese 共産主義者 overlords.

These men are not 犯罪のs. Yet 単に for standing up for what they believe in ? the 約束s made to Hong Kong by Beijing and enshrined in the Sino-British 共同の 宣言 ? is enough to make them 追跡（する）d men.

Their courage is astounding and that’s why it is so important for us to support their 原因（となる）.

As the Mail 報告（する）／憶測d on its 前線 page yesterday, it has 現れるd that we had an unwelcome ‘訪問者’ at our little event last week, who tried to 伸び（る） 接近 by telling 安全 he was a tourist and had been directed to our 招待-only event as part of an 公式の／役人 小旅行する.

We were 会合 in one of the remotest 委員会 rooms on the 最高の，を越す 床に打ち倒す of 議会. Are we really to believe that a mysterious ‘tourist’ just happened to 失敗 his way in?

I know that, in a 僕主主義 like ours, the 当局 will always do their best to keep 議会 open and accessible to ordinary people.

Yet what I also know is that 中国 is not only 設立するing a 監視 明言する／公表する within its 国境s, but is now 拡大するing that 監視 明言する／公表する to 解放する／自由な nations such as the UK.

We must 調査／捜査する how this happened ? and remain on high 警報 to 確実にする it is not repeated.

Like all 共産主義者 独裁政治s, 中国’s 支配者s see freedom anywhere as 脅し everywhere. Liberty is to be challenged and 鎮圧するd.

Uyghurs and Tibetans have long 苦しむd from this. Now it’s 明らかな that even Hong Kongers living in the UK are experiencing it ? and in the Mother of 議会s, too.

That’s 正確に why I and other MPs over 最近の years have organised events to make sure 発言する／表明するs are heard. From 行動主義者s Christopher Mung and Finn Lau last week, to Sebastian Lai, son of charismatic Hong Kong 実業家 and freedom 支持する／優勝者 Jimmy, who was 宣告，判決d to five years 監禁，拘置 in a repugnant show 裁判，公判 there last year.

Bosses of the Chinese 共産主義者 Party are using 人工的な 知能 and big data to create a 警察国家 that George Orwell couldn’t have dreamt about. Even in this country, they wilfully 侮辱する／軽蔑する our values. There have been alarming 出来事/事件s in Manchester, Southampton, and London’s Chinatown at which Hong Kong and プロの／賛成の-僕主主義 行動主義者s have 直面するd 暴力／激しさ and いやがらせ.

井戸／弁護士席, it’s time to step up and 保護する ourselves, our values and our 利益／興味s. This will need a 強健な approach: no more naivety about 中国’s 目的（とする）s.

It also means we must come clean about the 安全 危険s 提起する／ポーズをとるd by 名目上 ‘私的な’ 商業の 巨大（な）s like Huawei and Hikvision which are, to all 意図s and 目的s, part of the one-party 明言する／公表する.

一方／合間, we should be 供給するing 包括的な support to 犠牲者s of Beijing’s repression abroad, 含むing 合法的な 援助, 安全な-港／避難所s and 強健な 安全.

We should also be engaging with international partners who 株 our 関心s. 共同の 声明s, 的d 許可／制裁s and co-ordinated 成果／努力s to raise 認識／意識性 can all 発揮する 重要な 圧力 on Beijing.

The 戦う／戦い for the 未来 of humanity this century is already 進行中で: between open societies like ours, and 権威主義者 明言する／公表するs such as 中国 and its tyrannical 同盟（する）s such as Russia.

In this country, 議会 is at the heart of that liberty. Those that come here to speak should be 許すd to do so 自由に ? and without 恐れる.
