Award 北極の 軍用車隊 退役軍人s a メダル - and then 始める,決める Andrew Robathan’s 大臣の career 流浪して on a very 冷淡な sea
侮辱ing: Andrew Robathan has 怒り/怒るd 怒り/怒るd the Second World War heroes
Occasionally, it’s possible to feel sorry for our political class. An MP makes a わずかに garbled 発言/述べる and, within minutes, they have a Twitter 暴徒 需要・要求するing their 長,率いる on a stick.
Andrew Robathan, however, is not the 犠牲者 of any such over-reaction.
Rather, the junior defence 大臣 and political pygmy appears to have gone out of his way to be gratuitously 不快な/攻撃 to a group of now frail Second World War 退役軍人s for whom the light is fading.
He deserves everything he gets. やめる かもしれない, he also deserves the 解雇(する) for に例えるing the (選挙などの)運動をする to award these men 北極の 軍用車隊 メダルs to 陸軍大佐 Gaddafi 存在 ‘covered in’ honours.
Let’s consider, for a moment, what the 66,500 退役軍人s of the 軍用車隊 went through.
直面するing 普通の/平均(する) winter 空気/公表する 気温s of minus 20c, and seas so 冷淡な they would almost instantaneously kill
anyone 落ちるing overboard, they sailed 繰り返して from Scotland to northern Russia to keep the Soviet Union 供給(する)d with food and 決定的な 軍の 器具/備品.
More than 100 ships were sunk and 3,000 men killed ? with Winston Churchill calling the 旅行 the ‘worst in the world’.
But their courage never wavered. Russia stood 会社/堅い against the Nazis.
Those who 生き残る are not 需要・要求するing マリファナs of gold. All they 捜し出す, before going to their 墓/厳粛/彫る/重大なs, is for the 省 of Defence to strike a special (選挙などの)運動をする メダル for those who served.
Unsung: One of 78 軍用車隊s that 勇敢に立ち向かうd frozen seas to help 勝利,勝つ the war
Appalling 冷淡な: Snow and ice covered the upper 作品 of all ships
If the families of every 選び出す/独身 北極の 退役軍人 ? 含むing the dead ? were to (人命などを)奪う,主張する the メダル, the 概算の cost would only be around £1million -? a 減少(する) in the ocean for a 省 of Defence that spends more than £1million every 15 minutes.

Yet Mr Robathan and the 広大な 大軍 of pen-麻薬売人s at the MoD ? sat behind their hugely expensive desks, swivelling on their designer 議長,司会を務めるs ? stubbornly 辞退する to honour this request.
The risible excuse is that they are already 適格の for the 大西洋 星/主役にする and that one メダル should 十分である.
Which is what brought us to Mr Robathan’s ‘陸軍大佐 Gaddafi’ 発言/述べるs, made in a Westminster 審議 yesterday.
Caroline Dinenage, Tory MP for Gosport in Hampshire, used the 審議 to tell Mr Robathan it would be ‘utterly, utterly disgusting’ if the heroes went to their 墓/厳粛/彫る/重大なs without 存在 honoured.
主張するing it was an ‘侮辱’ 大臣s had not kept a pre-選挙 約束 to 問題/発行する the メダルs, she 追加するd: ‘It brings shame on our country.
To which Mr Robathan disgracefully 答える/応じるd: ‘The 意向 戦後の was not to cover everybody in メダルs. メダルs in the UK mean something
‘権威主義者 政権s and 独裁者s often throw around a lot of メダルs.
退役軍人s are 乱暴/暴力を加えるd that their (選挙などの)運動をする has been に例えるd to former Libyan leader 陸軍大佐 Gaddafi's ostentatious 陳列する,発揮する
‘We have taken the 見解(をとる) in this country, 伝統的に, that メダルs will only be awarded for (選挙などの)運動をするs that show 危険 and rigour.’
Even leaving aside the 発言/述べる about ‘危険 and rigour’ ? surely the very 鮮明度/定義 of the 北極の 軍用車隊 操作/手術 ? whatever 所有するd him to に例える the 退役軍人s to the cronies given メダルs by the murderous Gaddafi and Hussein?
Even those who do not support their (選挙などの)運動をする for a メダル must see this is crass, 不快な/攻撃 and above all else idiotic.
To make 事柄s worse, some of the 退役軍人s were sat in Westminster Hall and had to listen to as Mr Robathan 明らかに belittled their 出資/貢献 to the war 成果/努力.
The best way for David Cameron to put this ignoramus in his place would be to すぐに award the メダル. Then he should 始める,決める Mr Robathan’s 大臣の career 流浪して on a very 冷淡な sea.
