A schoolgirl says she can't wait to show off her new sparkly, pink prosthetic 注目する,もくろむ when 称する,呼ぶ/期間/用語 starts next week - after she lost her own 注目する,もくろむ to 癌 as a toddler.

Daisy Passfield, eight, from Hertfordshire was 診断するd with a grade D tumour in her retina when she was just 14 months old.

Daisy's mother, Alysia, noticed her 注目する,もくろむ appeared white on photographs taken with a flash - and her daughter was 診断するd with retinoblastoma soon afterwards

The eight-year-old 初めは chose a blue prosthetic 注目する,もくろむ but this year decided to 追加する a little glamour to her look.

The 確信して schoolgirl surprised her family and doctors by asking to have a new 注目する,もくろむ in her favourite colour - pink glitter.

Now she's proud to show off her 'superhero' 注目する,もくろむ which pals say looks befitting of a unicorn or a dragon - much to Daisy's delight.

Daisy, from Abbots Langley, Hertfordshire, said: 'I feel happy because everyone can see my pink sparkly 注目する,もくろむ. I am so excited to show everyone at school my sparkly 注目する,もくろむ.

'I think they will love it just like I do. Everyone I have spoken to has said how lovely it is.

She says that she's already been told by fans of her new 注目する,もくろむ that she looks like she has 'a superhero 注目する,もくろむ, a dragon's 注目する,もくろむ and a unicorn 注目する,もくろむ', 説 'I like all those things.'

Daisy's mum, Alysia Passfield, 30, said it was '堅い' trying to get a diagnosis for Daisy's 条件.

She was 診断するd with retinoblastoma - a rare and 積極的な form of 注目する,もくろむ 癌 that 影響する/感情s babies and young children, おもに under the age of six - in October 2015.

Alysia said she was 'relieved' to finally have a diagnosis, and 追加するd: 'I knew there was something wrong.

'明白に I was upset and in a bit of a shock. Daisy was 絶対 罰金, she took it in her stride, and she has six 一連の会議、交渉/完成するs of chemotherapy to try to 縮む the tumour.'

Unfortunately, Daisy relapsed two months after her chemotherapy ended and started intra arterial chemotherapy - a newer 手続き which is meant to 縮む the tumour.

Daisy was given a general anaesthetic for the 治療, which 伴う/関わるd passing a catheter through the femoral artery, all the way up until it is in the ophthalmic artery.

Instead of 縮むing the tumour, the 治療 had broken the tumour into different parts.

The 操作/手術 lasted around four hours and Alysia said she was on '(空)自動操縦装置' throughout.

Daisy got her new 注目する,もくろむ on July 28, 22. Alysia said: 'Daisy has always been into sparkly things, make-up and making herself look pretty.

WHAT IS RETINOBLASTOMA?

Retinoblastoma is a rare type of 注目する,もくろむ 癌 that usually 影響する/感情s children under the age of five.

About 50 children develop the 条件 every year in Britain.

Alysia said that Daisy has lives a '完全に normal' life. She said: 'She is one of the most 確信して people I have ever met.
