A schoolgirl says she can't wait to show off her new sparkly, pink prosthetic 注目する，もくろむ when 称する，呼ぶ／期間／用語 starts next week - after she lost her own 注目する，もくろむ to 癌 as a toddler.

Daisy Passfield, eight, from Hertfordshire was 診断するd with a grade D tumour in her retina when she was just 14 months old.

The then こども had chemotherapy to 縮む the tumour but two months after chemotherapy, it began growing 支援する, 軍隊ing doctors to 除去する her 権利 注目する，もくろむ 完全に.

Daisy underwent a four-hour 操作／手術 months later; her family had hoped a newer 手続き, designed to 崩壊する the?tumour would work, but traces of it were left and, 恐れるing it would grow, they 選ぶd to have Daisy's 注目する，もくろむ 除去するd.

Daisy's mother, Alysia, noticed her 注目する，もくろむ appeared white on photographs taken with a flash - and her daughter was 診断するd with retinoblastoma soon afterwards

The eight-year-old 初めは chose a blue prosthetic 注目する，もくろむ but this year decided to 追加する a little glamour to her look.

The 確信して schoolgirl surprised her family and doctors by asking to have a new 注目する，もくろむ in her favourite colour - pink glitter.

Now she's proud to show off her 'superhero' 注目する，もくろむ which pals say looks befitting of a unicorn or a dragon - much to Daisy's delight.

Daisy, from Abbots Langley, Hertfordshire, said: 'I feel happy because everyone can see my pink sparkly 注目する，もくろむ. I am so excited to show everyone at school my sparkly 注目する，もくろむ.

'I think they will love it just like I do. Everyone I have spoken to has said how lovely it is.

She says that she's already been told by fans of her new 注目する，もくろむ that she looks like she has 'a superhero 注目する，もくろむ, a dragon's 注目する，もくろむ and a unicorn 注目する，もくろむ', 説 'I like all those things.'

Daisy's mum, Alysia Passfield, 30, said it was '堅い' trying to get a diagnosis for Daisy's 条件.

Alysia said that she noticed there was something wrong with Daisy while looking at a picture of her. She said: 'I noticed from a photograph - she had a white glow in her 注目する，もくろむ and her 注目する，もくろむ had a glaze on it'

The most ありふれた symptoms are a white glow in 注目する，もくろむ or pupil in 薄暗い lighting or when a photo is taken using a flash, and a squint.

Chemotherapy to 除去する the tumour was 不成功の and Daisy's parents decided that it would be safer to 除去する her 注目する，もくろむ (Pictured: Daisy with her new prosthetic)?

She was 診断するd with retinoblastoma - a rare and 積極的な form of 注目する，もくろむ 癌 that 影響する／感情s babies and young children, おもに under the age of six - in October 2015.

Alysia said she was 'relieved' to finally have a diagnosis, and 追加するd: 'I knew there was something wrong.

'明白に I was upset and in a bit of a shock. Daisy was 絶対 罰金, she took it in her stride, and she has six 一連の会議、交渉／完成するs of chemotherapy to try to 縮む the tumour.'

Unfortunately, Daisy relapsed two months after her chemotherapy ended and started intra arterial chemotherapy - a newer 手続き which is meant to 縮む the tumour.

Intra arterial chemotherapy is a new method of 配達するing chemotherapy 麻薬s 直接／まっすぐに to the 注目する，もくろむ rather than around the 団体／死体.

Daisy was given a general anaesthetic for the 治療, which 伴う／関わるd passing a catheter through the femoral artery, all the way up until it is in the ophthalmic artery.

Once the catheter is in place the chemotherapy 麻薬 is 治めるd 経由で the tube and is able to work 直接／まっすぐに on the tumour/tumours in the e ye.

Retinoblastoma is 特に a 癌 of the retina, which is the light-極度の慎重さを要する lining at the 支援する of the 注目する，もくろむ - around 50 children in the UK develop the 条件 every year

Instead of 縮むing the tumour, the 治療 had broken the tumour into different parts.

Alysia said: 'By September 2016, we made the 決定／判定勝ち（する） to 除去する her 注目する，もくろむ, because the chemo that she had, had broken the tumour into different parts and we didn't want the tumour to spread.'

The 操作／手術 lasted around four hours and Alysia said she was on '（空）自動操縦装置' throughout.

After the 操作／手術, Daisy was given a blue 注目する，もくろむ matching her natural 注目する，もくろむ colour.

Daisy got her new 注目する，もくろむ on July 28, 22. Alysia said: 'Daisy has always been into sparkly things, make-up and making herself look pretty.

'We went to our 任命, I said to the woman about Daisy havin g a different coloured 注目する，もくろむ and they said they can do that.'

Alysia said that Daisy has lives a '完全に normal' life. She said: 'She is one of the most 確信して people I have ever met.

'The only thing she can't do is 運動 a 連合させる harvester or 飛行機で行く a 計画（する） but I don't think we have to ever worry about that happening.'

Daisy has an older sister called Immy Rose, 10, and brother Oakley, four. Alysia said Immy was 'very caring' and 追加するd: 'She was one of the most helpful children when we went through it.'

'We were 23 at the time. We had to do what we had to do and we had to make sure she was ok.'
