A breast 癌 生存者 is racing against the clock to have a baby with her husband, before it's too late.

Doctors are keen to give Amy Stavers, 30, from 郡 Durham, a 十分な hysterectomy to 保護する her from 癌?after 診断するing her with mucinous metaplasia (pre-cancerous change) of the endometrium, the tissue that lines her womb.

But they have 許すd a one-year 延期する for her to try and conceive.

Amy and her husband Kieran Stavers, 24, have been trying for a baby for two-and-a-half years already, since tying the knot in May 2021.

Now they are asking their loved ones and strangers to 支払う／賃金 for IVF before they run out of time.

This comes after she was 診断するd with breast 癌 老年の 25, before having chemotherapy, 放射線療法 and a 二塁打 mastectomy.

Amy has her first baby 老年の 17 before her first diagnosis, and her son Dylan is now 13. Because she is a mother already, she is not する権利を与えるd to a 解放する／自由な 一連の会議、交渉／完成する of IVF.

She says: 'It doesn't seem fair that we aren't する権利を与えるd to a 解放する／自由な 一連の会議、交渉／完成する when these pre-cancerous changes are 予定 to the hormone therapy 癌 麻薬 I was taking, Tamoxifen.

'I was on Tamoxifen for 18 months and I was supposed to stay on it for 10 years, but I decided to come off it because it 原因（となる）d thickness and changes in my womb, which has now led to this upsetting news.

'Kieran and I have one year to conceive, and our only 選択 is through IVF. We have been trying for a baby 自然に since 2021 with no luck, so the clock is ticking.

'All of my 血 実験（する）s and ざっと目を通すs show I'm fertile, just that I have one 封鎖するd tube from 癌 治療. IVF feels like the only 選択 we have now.'

Amy is 現在／一般に 失業した because of her health 問題／発行するs and Kieran cares for her 十分な-time. She was first 診断するd with breast 癌 in April 2019 after finding a lump in her left breast.

She says: 'After 落ちるing 妊娠している at 17, I went to the GP to discuss contraception. The GP 支配するd out the Pill because of my family history of 一打／打撃 and heart attacks and 示唆するd the implant instead.'

'Three years after having the implant, I had it 除去するd and 取って代わるd as 要求するd. Then I 設立する a lump in my left breast, but my doctor 保証するd me it was just a cyst.

'Years later, I discovered a lump the size of a ゴルフ ball in the same breast. I was told I was so young it would be nothing. But 生体検査s 確認するd it was breast 癌.'

'I had it taken out of my left arm, the same 味方する my 癌 was （悪事，秘密などを）発見するd,' she says. 'A doctor told me the hormones could be feeding the 癌 and how contraceptive hormones in the Pill and implant may 増加する the 危険 of developing breast 癌.

'It meant the tumour 含む／封じ込めるd oestrogen and other hormones,' she says. 'The new 開発 changed my diagnosis to 行う／開催する／段階 3+ 癌 and I needed a mastectomy, chemotherapy and 放射線療法.'

Last year, Amy requested another mastectomy to 除去する her other breast, this time as a preventative 手段. She had the 外科 in January 2023.

Now her 顧問 is keen for her to have a 十分な hysterectomy because of the pre-cancerous change in her womb lining.

Amy has undergone?a mastectomy, chemotherapy and 放射線療法. She has also had a lumpectomy and her lymph nodes 除去するd

Amy says: 'This month, my 顧問 即時に recommended a hysterectomy with 十分な ovary 除去 - because of the breast 癌 危険 - which would put me straight into surgical menopause.

'Since that day I have cried and cried, as all we want is to start a family. It has become 地雷 and Kieran's main 焦点（を合わせる） and it feels like this is our last chance.'
