After years of 生体検査s and まっただ中に the continuing 脅し of breast 癌, she went into the 外科 and, without much thought, 選ぶd for the 再建 covered by her health 保険.

To her enormous 救済, the rogue 独房s turned out not to be cancerous.

But when she looked at herself in the mirror 地位，任命する-再建, her new breasts felt like strangers. And 非，不，無 of her favorite jackets fitted.

It was only about three months later - after the 包帯s （機の）カム off and the swelling had come 負かす／撃墜する - that she was 手段d for a new bra and discovered, to her shock, that she had ballooned from a humble B cup to a 意味ありげに more generous D.

'I was really （疑いを）晴らす,' she 解任するs. 'I literally asked for lesbian yoga boobs. Those were the words I used.?

In fact, she 暴露するd a male-支配するd plastic 外科 産業 that - in essence - bestows Playboy fantasy boobs on unsuspecting women, based on its perception of what is sexy and attractive.

より小数の than 18 per cent of active plastic 外科医s in the US are women, while more than 90 per cent of the clientele is 女性（の）. And, until 2022, breast augmentation was by far the most ありふれた 手続き 成し遂げるd globally.

'There's a whole profession who 令状 papers... who agree literally on 測定s, like the distance between the sternum and the nipple and the areola, and what's the 権利 size of areola.

'It's about a professional 基準 of beauty, and a professional 基準 of what is the norm. This is bigger than indivi 二重の, personal predilections; it is about the male 支配 of an 産業.'

However, despite the fact that not only did she hate her new breasts - they also gave her '演習 intolerance,' meaning she couldn't swim or do yoga without experiencing 苦痛 and stiffness - Thornton never considered 告訴するing.

'I'm not a litigious type of person,' she says. 'My mother is British - you know, keep 静める and carry on. And also, when I was a kid, she never gave me 薬／医学, I'd have to be on my deathbed to get an aspirin. That's the way I was brought up. So it would have been anathema to me.'

She's even 改名するd them. They're no longer 指名するd after the male Muppets Bert and Ernie. 'They're now Glenda and Brenda, which is my mother and her high school friend from Harlow.'
