Two dresses worn by Diana, Princess of むちの跡s which were bought for nearly £130,000 yesterday will be 陳列する,発揮するd to the public for years to come.

The gowns, part of an auction of 10 of the princess's dresses yesterday, were bought by the charity Historic 王室の Palaces, which runs Kensington Palace, Diana's former 住居.

And the palace is hoping to 陳列する,発揮する at least one of the new dresses in an 展示 this summer と一緒に other items from their 王室の 儀式の Dress Collection.

The charity spent £50,400 on a Bruce Oldfield 黒人/ボイコット velvet evening gown, worn for an 公式の/役人 portrait by Lord Snowdon and at the 祝祭 開始 of Les 哀れなs at the Barbican Centre in 1985.

They also 購入(する)d a pink sequinned crepe dress by Catherine Walker, worn on a 公式訪問 to Brazil in 1991, for £78,000.

Kerry Taylor said: It's important for the 世代s to come.

'Diana was the people's princess, so the people should be able to see these dresses. This is our 遺産, our history.'

'The dresses are important examples of the work of two designers the princess chose on many occasions.
