Cara Delevingne finally makes an 外見 at London Fashion Week as Emma Hill 調印するs off in style at Mulberry

Today's Mulberry show, held at noon in Claridge's, begun, as has become tradition, with a 血まみれの Mary-fuelled drinks 歓迎会 where 空気／公表する kissing and catwalk catch-ups create a hubbub that whips up pre-show excitement to fever pitch.

One of the buzzier events on the LFW calendar, it's やめる an occasion even before the 着せる／賦与するs reach the catwalk.

Today though, the 予期 was perhaps even more 有形の, given that this was to be Creative Director Emma Hill's last for the British design house.

Elegant: Cara Delevingne sported a beautifully tailored short 控訴 and a pailette-embellished white dress

Floral: Hill's graphic blooms were used liberally on dresses

冷静な／正味の crimson: 愛国的な scarlet and white 支配するd the palette

Retro: Hill's old fashioned Marimekko style prints were a 攻撃する，衝突する

Contrast: Nubuck and suede introduced gentle structure while bold blooms on silk brought a country garden feel. I loved the bold orange 壇・綱領・公約s, which 選ぶd out orange splashes throughout the collection

New favourite: The Willow given an update for SS14 with embroidery

Want...it...now: Clutch in fiery orange

Hill 発表するd her 出発 from the company in June, making this her swansong collection. The moodboard, which in these plugged-in times was 株d by Mulberry 経由で email and social 網状組織ing before the show, spoke of quintessentially English tea time, ditzy florals in 磁器 print tempered by soft pinks, blues and greys.

And that was indeed what was 配達するd: Clean-lined coats in floral jacquard, fluid long-legged trousers in feather-light pavement grey silk, light summer blues, ballet pink silk and 有望な textured whites.

Then （機の）カム bolder florals - big blooms on silk tees and dresses, smaller prints on a clutch. The colour palette was bold but 簡素化するd - blue, orange, cream, white, grey - with those same hues running through print and 削減する.

Nappa leather shirts, trousers, skirts and jackets 供給するd gentle structure with a hint of 辛勝する／優位. I loved a （土地などの）細長い一片d tee in midnight blue Nappa suede and its matching skirt, also the elegant cream embroidered coats and pyjama silk trousers and floaty blouses.

This 存在 Mulberry, 捕らえる、獲得するs were standout too. The popular Willow was reincarnated in silky midnight blue calf, embroidered with white raffia flowers or in Nubuck （土地などの）細長い一片s.?

The classic Bayswater was （判決などを）下すd in fiery orange or inky blue Nubuck （土地などの）細長い一片s making it a must-have... again.

And the large Kensal made an 外見 in cream or summer blue velvet calf.

Cara Delevingne opened the show, and was only わずかに 影を投げかけるd by the two canine catwalk 星／主役にするs who walked in Mulberry coats.

Last year's doggy 星／主役にする, a 基準 poodle called Max, （機の）カム to watch, dressed in a plaid Mulberry cost and 冒険的な a flawless new hairstyle - the best dressed on the 前線 列／漕ぐ／騒動 perhaps?

Anna Wi ntour seemed to think so - she was cooing over the dog as he tried to creep up on the catwalk. Proof that Ms Wintour is maybe not as icy as her 評判 would 示唆する.

With Wintour and her UK Vogue 相当するもの Alexandra Shulman in the 前線 列／漕ぐ／騒動, fashion's 真っ先の 編集（者）の 人物／姿／数字s were 代表するd.

So too was the celebrity element, with Alexa Chung, she of Mulberry's Alexa satchel fame, taking her place と一緒に actor Douglas Booth and actresses Juno 寺 and Rebecca Hall.??

The show, which played out to a soundtrack 含むing Madness's Our House, a bit of Queen and the children's party song, If You're Happy And You Know It, saw models step through elegant doorways covered with ivy and climbing white roses, bringing a stately home country garden feel to the hotel's 内部の.

The show 公式文書，認めるs said Mulberry 'revisited the style 態度 'Le Style Anglais' with its laid 支援する 解釈／通訳 of 遺産 高級な'.

'The new season is both town and country: the collection was 影響（力）d by modernist overtones from Sixties London juxtaposed with the opulence of a quintessential English country house and gardens,' they said.

'In its style and 態度 the collection embraced both familiarity and modernity, working with classic prints and textures reinterpreted to create new season 署名s imbued with Mulberry's inherent British wit.'

It （機の）カム to a の近くに to a rousing rendition of Land Of Hope And Glory, which saw fashion commentator Hilary Alexander jigging along in time to the music.

But Liz Jones, who was still reeling after 存在 accosted for a photo by a fan after the show ('I don't usually get people telling me they like me!') said she would have hoped for Hill to go out on more of a high.

'I didn't think it was her best, to be honest,' said the Daily Mail fashion columnist. 'There was a lot of very sticky out fabric.

'Some of the coats were nice, but there was some very 厚い fabric that is not 平易な to wear. The shoes were やめる clumpy too.'

But the celebrities, who are, after all the ones with the money to buy it, were more enamoured with the designs, with Alexa Chung 宣言するing that she loved it all.

For her part, Hill 証明するd just how those 'tricky' fabrics and pieces should be worn when she stepped out to take her final 屈服する.

She wore a midnight blue Nappa leather jacket, cropped, short fur sleeves, with her ジーンズs.
