Most famous for Diana’s Vanity Fair photoshoot in 1997, but also worn to several 私的な events, the grey silk satin with imitation pearl embroidery is a design classic, says Daily Mail style editor Dinah 先頭 Tulleken.

Its creator, Catherine Walker, later explained her 願望（する） to make a ‘dignified showstopper’ for Diana ― a dress that she could enjoy wearing, 解放する／自由な from the 強制s of her 王室の life.

‘The 厚い stretches of beading around the 武器 and neckline 反映する light on to the 直面する and draw the 注目する，もくろむ up,’ says Dinah.

‘The flattering drapery on the 味方する 追加するs 利益／興味 and leaves what could have been a very formal style looking more relaxed.’
