A mother who hasn't used any cosmetics 含むing shampoo on herself or her children for over a year （人命などを）奪う，主張するs that the change has saved her thousands.
Last year, Virginia Tapscott made the 議論の的になる 決定／判定勝ち（する） to stop using toileteries on both herself and her kids after becoming 関心d about the 量 of '有毒な' 化学製品s in mainstream beauty 製品s.

Mother-of-two, Virginia, said: 'When I was 妊娠している with my daughter, I started to really think about what 有毒な 化学製品s are in all the beauty and 世帯 製品s that I was using every day.
'The 化学製品s are not just terrible for our health, but they have a 抱擁する 衝撃 on our 全体にわたる 環境 足跡.

'I didn't know what would happen but 手配中の，お尋ね者 to give it a go. Now I just use warm water and a washcloth, and it makes for a really quick にわか雨.
'Our 肌 produces all these natural oils that keep it clean and healthy anyway.
'Water is a powerful solvent in itself so that is going to get off any dirt or grime, 特に when you use a washcloth.
'As for my hair, it's never felt better. It does feel different and its 明白に not like it was when I was washing it, but it doesn't smell.

'I also いつかs just rub tapioca flour in my hair and 小衝突 it out, which is like a natural 乾燥した，日照りの shampoo.
'My 肌 has also never looked better. It used to be on the 乾燥した，日照りの 味方する but now it feels amazing.'
Now the only 製品s Virginia uses on her 肌 is pure jojoba oil and a mineral sunscreen, which only costs her $160 (£90) per year.
The mother still uses a 妨げる／法廷，弁護士業 of 手渡す soap for hygiene, but has 溝へはまらせる／不時着するd 商業の deodorant and toothpaste altogether - saving her a その上の $200 (£113) in the last 12 months.
She now makes her own toothpaste from bentonite clay and calcium carbonate - while her homemade deodorant is 簡単に coconut oil, bicarb soda and 必須の oils.
