The Princess 王室の has 表明するd her '深遠な 賞賛' for midwives in a letter to 示す the start of a year-long 祝賀 of the profession.

Princess Anne, 69, wrote to the 王室の College of Midwives in London on the eve of 2020,? a year which has been 指定するd by the World Health Organisation (世界保健機構) as the Year of the Nurse and Midwife, and 目的（とする）s to recognise nurses and midwives who play a 決定的な 役割 in 供給するing health care services.

It comes after the Duchess of Cambridge, 37, the patron of the Nursing Now （選挙などの）運動をする, penned an open letter to midwifes where she 賞賛するd their 'true 衝撃' on people and their 'humbling work.'?

In her letter, the Queen’s onlyh daughter wrote: 'I 手配中の，お尋ね者 to take this 適切な時期 on the eve of International Year of the Midwife in 2020 to 表明する my 深遠な 賞賛 for the incredible and important work that you do; the value of which cannot be underestimated.'

As a patron of The 王室の College of Midwives, Anne said she had the '楽しみ' of 会合 maternity teams around the countr y over the years, and 証言，証人／目撃するd first-手渡す the 'joy on the 直面するs of mothers and their partners and their 感謝' に向かって the 労働者s.

She ended her letter by 説: 'I 申し込む／申し出 my very best wishes to yo u all for the year ahead celebrating you and your profession. I look 今後 to 会合 even more of you in the coming year; your year.'

At the end of November, the Duchess of Cambridge spent two days 個人として 請け負うing 'work experience' at Kingston Hospital maternity 部隊 in south-west London to learn about what it was like to work in frontline maternity care, 述べるing the experience as 'a 特権'.
