How to start a cosmetic collection

  • Making an 投資? Look for iconic brands that sum up the spirit of an age. Pieces that 具体的に表現する a 傾向 are likely to be the most sought after in 未来.
  • 投資する in the 初めの magazine adverts for your item (利用できる on eBay) or print them from the internet.
  • Remember, it’s not all about money ― collect things you genuinely love.
  • Modern-day classics will be 価値（がある） something one day, such as an item from Rihanna’s first Fenty Beauty collection.
  • Look for 革命の 製品 design, such as the first ‘新たな展開 up’ lipsticks.
  • Find items which look ‘of their 時代’, such as Seventies Avon 製品s.
  • I おもに use 場所／位置s such as eBay, Etsy and 1stdibs. But if I’m in a new place, I pop into bric-a-brac and antique shops. There are also websites specialising in 広い地所 sales in the U.S. ― anything with celebrity 関係s is a good 投資.
  • Buy items in 広大な／多数の／重要な 条件. 未使用の and in its box is the dream. But there are exceptions, such as if it’s an iconic piece or has a lovely story.   • Don’t use the old make-up as it lowers its value and may give you a 無分別な!
