Why is the 麻薬 company behind a 革命の bird 支配（する）／統制する pill that can be taken any time within 24 hours 否定するing it to British women?

麻薬 company bosses have been （刑事）被告 of 持つ／拘留するing 支援する the British 開始する，打ち上げる of a 開拓するing contraceptive pill that could transform birth 支配（する）／統制する for women.

The 医薬, Slynd, 含む／封じ込めるs progestogen only ? given to women who cannot take oestrogen. It 原因（となる）s より小数の 味方する 影響s and is more 効果的な at 妨げるing pregnancies than other oestrogen-解放する／自由な 医薬s, such as the ありふれた 小型の pill.

But its main attraction is that while other contraceptive pills have to be taken during a short time window every day or they become 効果のない／無能な, Slynd can be taken at any time during a 24-hour period.

The 打開 tablet has b een 広範囲にわたって 利用できる in America and Australia since 2019 and received its UK licence in March last year from the 薬／医学s and Healthcare 製品s Regulatory 機関.

But The Mail on Sunday has learned that 製造業者 Exeltis has not 適用するd to the NHS 財政上の 監視者, the 国家の 学校／設ける for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), for 是認 ? a 決定的な step before any 医薬 can be rolled out in the UK and a 過程 that typically takes a year.

Exeltis has also not 供給するd a 開始する，打ち上げる date for Slynd to the Faculty of 性の and Reproductive Healthcare on, which 供給する 指導基準s on all contraceptives, and would not give any 指示，表示する物 as to when it might do so.?

Doctors have あられ／賞賛するd Slynd as 革命の and hoped it would be 利用できる by the summer. However, this looks ますます ありそうもない.

GP and women’s health 専門家 Dr Philippa Kaye said: ‘If a 麻薬 is good, why 持つ／拘留する it 支援する? Why is it 存在 kept from women who could 利益?’ She 追加するd: ‘Most types of Pill have to be taken within a three-hour window, but women aren’t robots ? we forget, or we go away for the 週末. Anything that 許すs a bit more slack in the system and gives more choice is hugely 肯定的な.’

In America, Slynd is one of the most expensive contraceptive pills on the market, costing 概略で £147 per month, while the pills 利用できる on prescription in the UK typically cost the NHS under £8 a month.

There are two types of contraceptive pill: the 連合させるd pill, which 含む／封じ込めるs synthetic 見解／翻訳／版s of the hormones oestrogen and progestogen, and the 小型の pill, also known as the progestogen-only pill, which 含む／封じ込めるs synthetic progestogen. Both 妨げる pregnancy, but some women can’t take the 連合させるd pill, 含むing those who have had breast 癌 or 苦しむd 血 clots, or have a family history of them, as oestrogen can raise the 危険s.

Women who 苦しむ migraines are also often unable to take the 連合させるd pill as it より悪くするs symptoms. ‘My son is brilliant. But it put me off taking the pill. My husband and I use condoms now ? and not using one, once, was how I ended up 妊娠している a second time. We don’t want any more kids, so a pill that is いっそう少なく hassle would make things easier.’

Last night an Exeltis 広報担当者 failed to explain why it had not 開始する，打ち上げるd Slynd in the UK, 追加するing: ‘It is not yet 利用できる and the exact タイミング cannot be 確認するd.’
