EXCLUSIVE: Scientists who 公然と非難するd Covid lab 漏れる theory as a 共謀 内密に believed it was '高度に likely' the ウイルス escaped Chinese 研究 施設, 漏れるd messages 得るd by MailOnline show

A renowned scientist who led the 激しい非難 of the Covid lab 漏れる theory 個人として believed it was '高度に likely', 漏れるd messages show.

Dr Kristian Andersen,?a Danish evolutionary biologist, co-authored a now-悪名高い 研究 paper published in March 2020 that 公然と非難するd the origin シナリオ as a 共謀 theory and xenophobic.?

Yet Slack messages 得るd by DailyMail.com show how just weeks before the 出版(物) of that paper, Dr Andersen told 同僚s the idea of a lab 漏れる was 'not some fringe theory' and was, in fact, '高度に likely' the genesis of the pandemic.

Separate, 公然と-利用できる communications?between the virologist and his co-authors show how the group 支援するd the natural origin theory - the idea the ウイルス jumped from an animal to a person in the wild - for 'political' 推論する/理由s and 恐れるd?pinning the 非難する on the Chinese lab?would 原因(となる) a ‘s***show’ and 脅す 未来 基金ing of ウイルス 巧みな操作 研究.

Critics say the messages show how the 科学の community conspired to censor 審議 about the origins of the pandemic, but the scientists 伴う/関わるd (人命などを)奪う,主張する they changed their minds between sending the messages and 令状ing the paper.

Dr Andersen and the other scientists 伴う/関わるd in publishing 'The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2' paper on March 17, 2020, were asked to 証言する before the House Oversight Select 小委員会 on Tuesday.

But only Dr Andersen and co-author Dr Robert Garry,?a 尊敬(する)・点d microbiologist who 作品 at Tulane University in New Orleans, 現実に did.

House 共和国の/共和党のs 取調べ/厳しく尋問するd the two doctors, 特記する/引用するing the newly 公表する/暴露するd communications between 研究員s in 早期に 2020 as 証拠 of a cover-up - something the scientists 堅固に 反駁するd.?

Some of the messages were published as part of a 政府?報告(する)/憶測 解放(する)d 早期に Tuesday before the 審理,公聴会. DailyMail.com was able to 得る extra messages not 明らかにする/漏らすd in the 報告(する)/憶測.

House 共和国の/共和党のs pointed to the scientists' 成果/努力s to 調査(する) Covid’s origins in the 文書,?which they say 量d to blatantly squashing 発言する/表明するs that 支持するd for more serious 調査 into the theory that the ウイルス 漏れるd from the Wuhan 学校/設ける of Virology (WIV).

In a message sent on February 2, 2020, Dr Andersen said: 'The main 問題/発行する is that 偶発の escape is in fact 高度に likely - it's not some fringe theory.

Also on February 2, 2020, Dr Andersen admitted he found it 'strange' that Covid emerged in Wuhan, a city hundreds of miles from rural China where related coronaviruses circulate, despite labeling the lab leak theory a conspiracy

'I 絶対 agree that we can't 証明する one way or the other, but we never will be able to - however, that doesn't mean that by default the data is 現在/一般に much more suggestive of a natural origin as …に反対するd to e.g. passage. It's not...'

In other messages, Dr Andersen 認める he 設立する it 'strange' that Covid 現れるd in Wuhan, a city hundreds of miles from 田舎の 中国 where 関係のある coro naviruses 循環させる, にもかかわらず labeling the lab 漏れる theory a 共謀.

He said: 'Do we have any 場所 (警察などへの)密告,告訴(状) on the bat SARS-like ウイルスs? ...I believe RaTG13 is from Yunnan, which is about as far away from Wuhan as you can be and still be in 中国.?

'What are the chances of finding ウイルスs that are 96 パーセント 同一の given that distance? Seems strange given how many SARS-like ウイルスs we have in bats.'

RaTG13 is a bat ウイルス and one of the closest known 親族s to the SARS-CoV-2 Covid ウイルス. There were 恐れるs that it may have been the ancestor of Covid that was tinkered with in the lab.

The WIV is just a 40-minute 運動 from the Huanan wet market in 中国, where the first 感染s started. 一方/合間, as Dr Andersen pointed out, Wuhan is more than 800 miles from Yunnan, the 地域 where Covid's 親族 is indigenous, making natural 伝達/伝染 seem いっそう少なく likely.

Dr Andersen did not reply to a DailyMail.com request for comment.?

Other messages which were 陳列する,発揮するd in the cropped screenshots in the 報告(する)/憶測 show that Dr Andrew Rambaut, a biologist at the University of?Edinburgh, another co-author of the anti-lab 漏れる paper, 恐れるd pinning the 非難する on?中国?for ‘even 偶発の 解放(する)’ of the ウイルス would 原因(となる) a geopolitical ‘s*** show’, and so he was ‘content with ascribing it to natural 過程.’

The 悪名高い proximal origin paper was partly (売買)手数料,委託(する)/委員会/権限d by Dr Anthony Fauci, the then-長,率いる of the US's 国家の 研究 機関 that had been 基金ing risky ウイルス 研究 on Covid's 親族s at the lab in Wuhan, partly 基金d by the US taxpayer.

Co-author Dr Garry 認める to the BBC last month the 研究員s went 'too far' in the paper.

The paper 結論するd: 'We do not believe that any type of 研究室/実験室-based シナリオ is plausible.'

But Dr Garry said this 声明 was never meant to 解任する all types of 可能性のある lab 漏れる.?

Speaking to?Fever: The 追跡(する) for Covid's Origin, an eight-part BBC 無線で通信する 4 series, he said they were 目的(とする)ing to 解任する the idea the ウイルス had been 故意に (手先の)技術d as a bioweapon.??

'At that point we were still 大部分は under the 影響(力), when that particular 宣告,判決 was written, with the notion that this may have been a bioengineered ウイルス or maybe a 武器 that just sort of accidentally 解放(する)d,' he said.

But 圧力(をかける)d by John Sudworth, the BBC’s former Beijing 特派員, on how the paper's 主要な/長/主犯 結論 covered all types of lab 漏れるs, such as a from a 病気 研究 施設, Professor Garry 認める the 言い回し was wrong.?

‘Maybe we went a little too far there,’ he said.

The Proximal Origin 報告(する)/憶測, which was published just days after a 会議/協議会 call in which 最高の,を越す scientists, 含むing Dr Fauci and Dr Francis Collins, fielded frantic messages from virologists about the 可能性 that 面s of the ウイルス appeared man-made.

内部の messages show that even Dr Andersen considered the argument that the genomic 構成 of the ウイルス 示唆するd human tampering, though he changed his tune just four days later on February 4, as 証拠d by an e-mail he sent to a different 刈る of scientists - which was later 回復するd by investigative group 権利 to Know.

In the message, Dr Andersen wrote: ‘The main crackpot theories going around at the moment relate to this ウイルス 存在 somehow engineered with 意図 and that is demonstrably not the 事例/患者.’

The 共和国の/共和党のs’ 成果/努力s to nail 負かす/撃墜する where 正確に/まさに the ウイルス (機の)カム from, whether that be from a Wuhan wet market selling animals 汚染するd with the ウイルス or from the Wuhan 学校/設ける of Virology, have homed in on exposing the inner workings of 科学の 当局 like Dr Fauci and Dr Collins ? colloquially dubbed by 共和国の/共和党のs as ‘the Bethesda Boys’.

The 問題/発行する has become a 大部分は political one after years of labeling 確かな scientists, 含むing Dr Fauci and Dr Collins at the 中心 of the 審議 as overtly biased in 好意 of theories espoused by many 民主党員s and 政府-堅固に守るd scientists.

This 含むs the theory that Covid-19 likely jumped from an animal intermediary host before 感染させるing humans.
