A 列／漕ぐ／騒動 over whether homeopathic 治療（薬）s should be 基金d on the NHS broke out on the 連合（法廷の）裁判s today.

自由主義の民主党員 Julian Huppert called on 小型の sters not to spend money on methods which '簡単に do not work'.

But Tory David Tredinnick 支援するd the 治療s and 勧めるd his frontbench 同僚s to 解任する Mr Huppert's 'illiberal 見解（をとる）s'.

Junior health 大臣 Anne Milton sought to dodge the argument - which （機の）カム as medics at the British 医療の協会 (BMA) 会議／協議会投票（する）d three-to-one in favour of banning NHS 基金ing for homeopathic 治療（薬）s

They also 投票（する）d to 除去する support for the UK's four homeopathic hospitals - 説治療決定／判定勝ち（する）s should be made by clinicians.

During ありふれたs question time, Mr Huppert (Cambridge) asked whether the 政府支援するd the BMA's 動議 and the 結論s of a ありふれたs 委員会 last year which also called for NHS 基金ing to be 孤立した.

He asked: 'Given the 財政上の強制s that we 直面する, can you defend spending millions of 続けざまに猛撃するs of NHS money on methods which 簡単に do not work?'

Ms Milton said nobody knew 正確に／まさに how much was spent on the 治療（薬）s and told Mr Huppert the 政府 hoped to 答える／応じる to the 委員会's 報告（する）／憶測 by the summer 休会.

She said 決定／判定勝ち（する）s 'should be taken by doctors 地元で' and 追加するd: 'The 有効性, the safety and the efficacy of 治療 should be taken into account.'

But Mr Tredinnick (Bosworth) said later: 'There is 普及した anecdotal 証拠 of the 有効性 of homeopathic 薬／医学s, and there are 500 doctors in this country who practise them and they are not 強いるd to, and nobody is 強いるd to have it if they don't want it.

'Will you therefore ひどく割引 the illiberal 見解（をとる）s of Mr Huppert.'

Ms Milton 賞賛するd Mr Tredinnick's 'continued and 執拗な' ロビーing in favour of the 200-year-old system.

And she said: 'What is important is that 決定／判定勝ち（する）s about 治療 are made by clinicians - and they will base their 決定／判定勝ち（する）s on the safety, efficiency, efficacy and the 結果s that a particular 治療 will give.'

Homeopathy has been 基金d on the NHS since its inception in 1948.

It 異なるs from herbal 薬／医学 in that it relies on 実体s 存在 diluted many times, something the 委員会 said could not be scientifically proven to work.

One doctor at the BMA 会議／協議会述べるd homeopathy as 'nonsense on stilts' while another said 患者s would be better off buying 瓶／封じ込めるd water.
