Epidurals 'in the （疑いを）晴らす'

Women who have painkilling spinal 注射s when they give birth are not more likely to develop backache, say doctors.

Ten years ago 研究 示唆するd there was a link between 支援する 苦痛 and epidurals. The 手続き 伴う／関わるs a 麻薬 存在 注入するd into the epidural space in the spine.

Doctors at the North Staffordshire Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent, 熟考する／考慮するd 369 women who received either an epidural or another type of 苦痛 救済.

A 報告（する）／憶測 in the British 医療の 定期刊行物 today says there was no difference in the 量 of 支援する 苦痛 報告（する）／憶測d by the two groups a year after they gave birth.

Anaesthetist Dr Charlotte Howell, who led the team, said previous 熟考する／考慮するs may have been 影響（力）d by the fact that the women who had epidurals might have been more at 危険 of backache in the first place.
