My baby saved my life: Mother's deadly bone 骨髄 病気 is cured by pregnancy

When Anna Marton was given just two years to live she was 荒廃させるd.

She had been 診断するd with a deadly bone 骨髄 defect, which doctors said couldn’t be cured.

Then she 突然に fell 妊娠している and doctors 警告するd that giving birth could kill her - but she was 決定するd to carry on with the pregnancy.

It was a 決定／判定勝ち（する） that has miraculously ended up saving her life - as her baby son Jason has CURED her of the 条件.

It has baffled doctors - but in Februrary,? Anna was finally given the all （疑いを）晴らす from the 病気 and can now live a normal life.

‘Jason really has been my 奇蹟 cure,’ said Anna, who lives with partner Tony Harman, 41, a kitchen fitter.

‘Even the doctors couldn’t explain it - it really is a 奇蹟 - and that's what I call him. T here was no 薬／医学 to 扱う／治療する me - but my own baby cured me.’

Anna, 39, who lives in Rhu, 近づく Glasgow, was 診断するd in February 2009 with myelofibrosis, a bone 骨髄 defect that 影響する／感情s the 団体／死体’s ability to produce red 血 独房s.

She had been 苦しむing from unexplained bruising for several months before, which she at first put 負かす／撃墜する to helping out on her 地元の farm.

‘I just kept finding these bruises all over my 団体／死体,’ she said.

‘The slightest knock would turn me 黒人／ボイコット and blue. I couldn’t really understand why it was happening, as I never remembered knocking myself.

‘At first I thought it was my outdoors lifestyle - I ride horses and help out on the 地元の farm, so there is plenty of 適切な時期 for knocks and bangs doing all that outdoors work. But then my gums started bleeding and I notcied 削減（する）s and bruises weren’t 傷をいやす／和解させるing 適切に, so I thought that something might be wrong, and I was feeling exhausted all the time too.

‘I had the 実験（する）s done at the haematology department of the 地元の hospital so they could take a bone 骨髄 見本.

'Tony （機の）カム with me to get my results. It was the day before my 37th birthday and as soon as I saw the 顧問’s 直面する I knew すぐに that it wasn’t good news.'

‘I had to spend most of my time indoors so that I didn’t come into 接触する with anyone.’

She didn’t want to tell her children about the fact that she could die, as she didn’t want to upset them.

‘I ex plained to them that doctors couldn’t cure my 条件 but that the worse 事例／患者 シナリオ was that I might need a bone 骨髄 移植（する）,’ she said.

‘I didn’t want them worrying that they were going to lose me.’

Then in April 2009 she may the most remarkable 発見 that she was 妊娠している.

‘At first I thought there was no hope and that I was doomed, said Anna.

‘But then one of the doctors at the hospital said they would do everything they could to support me and they could give me 麻薬s during the 労働 to try and stop any bleeding.

‘I just had to put my 信用 in the doctors and hope for the best.’

Anna’s pregnancy 進歩d 滑らかに and at each ざっと目を通す she could see her baby was 栄えるing.

‘He kicked a lot and moved around, which was so reassurring,’ she said.

Baby Jason was born in November 2009, 重さを計るing a healthy 6Ib2, after just three hours 労働.

‘It was such a 救済 when I finally held him in my 武器. The doctors had told me they couldn’t carry out a caesarian 操作／手術 as it was too risky to me as I could have bleed to death if anything had gone wrong, but luckily the 労働 went 滑らかに and Jason was born 自然に.

The doctors had been on 代替要員，物 ready to give me 輸血s, but it turned out they weren’t needed as it was such an 平易な birth.

‘As soon as I’d given birth and he was in my 武器 I looked 負かす／撃墜する at him and it was hard to think that I probably wouldn’t live to see him grow up. it was just 破滅的な to think that he wouldn’t remember me. ’

But then in February last year, 12 months after her 初期の diagnosis, something amazing happened.

Anna went 支援する to hospital for a check up and it was then that doctors made a remarkable 発見. There was no 調印する of the 病気.

Doctors then sent the bone 骨髄 見本s to 25 different doctors just to check the results, but they had all agreed it was （疑いを）晴らす.

‘I couldn’t believe it, and neither could anyone else,’ said Anna.?

‘Just a year ago I’d been given just two years to live. And now I was 存在 told that the 病気 had 完全に gone from my 団体／死体. It was unbelievable.’

‘The doctors had never seen a 事例／患者 like it before, and they told me that somehow, the pregnancy hormones had helped my 団体／死体 傷をいやす／和解させる itself.’

‘Everyone was baffled, but now thankfully I can just get on with 存在 a mum,’ said Anna.?
