Calls for Thalidomide 支配（する）／統制するs
Thalidomide 選挙運動者s today called for tighter 制限s after they were able to get 持つ／拘留する of the 麻薬 in the UK over the internet.
The 麻薬, which was once used to 扱う／治療する 妊娠している women with morning sickness, was 孤立した from use in this country in 1961 after children were born with 厳しい deformities.
It is 現在／一般に unlicensed in Europe and can only be 定める／命ずるd under strict 支配（する）／統制するs to "指名するd 患者s" in the 治療 of 条件s such as the 癌 多重の myeloma and a form of leprosy.
But （選挙などの）運動をする group Thalidomide UK said they were able to buy the 麻薬 by 登録（する）ing as a pharmacy on the Internet and then phoning the distributors Pharmion, ordering a 供給（する） that arrived 24 hours later.
Thalidomide UK 大統領，／社長 Freddie Astbury, who was born without 武器 and 脚s after his mother took the 麻薬, said he 辞退するd to return the 要約する／（宇宙ロケットの）カプセルs he had 購入（する）d when approached by Pharmion.
He also said he had been 脅すd with 起訴 for using 誤った 詳細（に述べる）s to buy the Thalidomide.
"If I can stop one baby 存在 born with deformities as a result of the 麻薬 then I would be 用意が出来ている to go to 刑務所，拘置所 knowing it would have been worthwhile.
"Over the years this 麻薬 has 損失d so many lives and I want to stop the 麻薬 存在 easily 利用できる," Mr Astbury said.
The 選挙運動者 said they were 関心d that 麻薬 （麻薬）常用者s could get 持つ／拘留する of Thalidomide, taking it and selling it on without caring about the 危険s.
"We 接触するd a 麻薬 （麻薬）常用者s centre and were told that （麻薬）常用者s will take anything they can get 持つ／拘留する of.
"Thalidomide is a 井戸／弁護士席-known 指名する and they would take it for the kudos without knowing or caring about the 危険," Mr Astbury said.
Pharmion has 適用するd for a European licence for the 麻薬 from the European 機関 for the Evaluation of Medicinal 製品s (EMEA), which could reach a 決定／判定勝ち（する） later this year.
A EMEA 広報担当者 said: "An 使用／適用 has been made for the use of Thalidom ide for two different uses.
"We are 現在／一般に reviewing the 状況／情勢 and are working with 患者 and 犠牲者 groups."

In a 声明 the company said: "People across Europe have been able to buy Thalidomide with no 制限s for a number of years.
