NHS 信用 becomes first in the country to 調印する 契約 with a 私的な maternity care company

An NHS 信用 has become the first in the country to 調印する a 契約 wit h a 私的な company to 供給する maternity care.

NHS Wirral has made a を取り引きする One to One に引き続いて a 操縦する 計画／陰謀 to 供給する services to women in the 地元の area.

Those women 選ぶing to go with One to One will be 供給するd with a midwife who sees them through all their antenatal care, birth of the baby and postnatal care.

This will be an 代案／選択肢 to the usual NHS services on 申し込む／申し出, although One to One midwives will be able to go into NHS hospitals to 配達する the baby if the woman has a hospital birth.

The company is now in 会談 with other NHS 信用s around England and むちの跡s about 供給するing some of their maternity services.

In the two weeks since the 契約 was 調印するd with NHS Wirral, around 10 babies have been born using One to One midwives, most of them at home.

Jacque Gerrard, the 王室の College of Midwives' director for England, said: 'The RCM is aware of the 進歩 made by One to One as a maternity service provider, and we welcome it as an 追加する-on service for choice for women.
