The 警告 comes ahead of the roll-out of two new 麻薬s - Telaprevir and Boceprevir - in the NHS later this year that will help 取り組む the ウイルス.

'肝炎 C is a tricky ウイルス which often results in 肝臓 損失 before it 原因（となる）s any symptoms so, with most of the 概算の half a million 影響する／感情d people in the UK unaware they have the 病気, it is 平易な to see we are on dangerous ground,' said Dr Wright.

'Yet the 悲劇 of all of this is that, while we are not seeing the large numbers of people we know are 感染させるd coming 今後 予定 to 現在進行中の poor understanding of the 危険s, 治療s continue to get better and stronger yet may, sadly, go to waste if we can't get this 決定的な message through.

Anyone who had a 輸血 事前の to 1990, has ever 株d needles to 注入する 麻薬s, has had 医療の care abroad or has tattoos is at 危険 of 肝炎 C.

The illness can also be transmitted through 性の intercourse.

Dr Wright 追加するd: 'If you know you have put yourself at 危険 you should talk to your doctor about getting 実験（する）d because the 病気 is treatable and more and more people can be cured thanks to a large number of new 薬／医学s such as those 存在 used and 実験（する）d here in Southampton.
