Could a popular arthritis 補足(する) be the 重要な to a longer life? Glucosamine could 延長する life 'by 8 years'

  • Mice taking glucosamine lived ten per cent longer in 実験(する)s
  • Ten per cent would be the 同等(の) of eight human years
  • The food 補足(する) is 普通は used to 扱う/治療する arthritis

A food 補足(する) made from crab 爆撃するs could 持つ/拘留する the 重要な to a long life, によれば scientists.

実験(する)s on mice 設立する glucosamine 延長するd lifespan by almost 10 per cent ? 同等(の) to an extra eight years in human 条件.

It is thought the sugar-like 補足(する), which has long been used to keep 共同のs healthy and 緩和する the 苦痛 of arthritis, 延長するs life by altering the metabolism.

The スイスの 研究員s said they could not be 確かな it would work in humans.

But scien tist Michael Ristow, who has started taking glucosamine himself, (人命などを)奪う,主張するd: ‘The chances are good.’

Dr Ristow, of the スイスの 連邦の 学校/設ける of 科学(工学)技術 in Zurich, is one of many scientists around the world 追跡(する)ing for an anti-ageing pill or potion. The challenges 含む finding one which is 安全な and that 約束s a healthy, 同様に as longer, old age.

Dr Ristow first showed that giving worms glucosamine 延長するd lifespan by 5 per cent. He then gave the 補足(する) to ageing mice in 新規加入 to their usual diet.?

These animals lived 10 per cent longer than a second group which ate 普通は, the 定期刊行物 Nature Communications 報告(する)/憶測d.

The 補足(する), which can be bought in health food shops ? in the form of a 砕く or more expensive 要約する/(宇宙ロケットの)カプセルs ? also appeared to 区 off 糖尿病. It is thought it lengthens life by switching the 団体/死体’s energy? 供給(する) from sugary carbohydrates to fat? and protein.

Low-carbohydrate diets are know n to have 利益s to health 含むing lowering 負わせる, 血 圧力 and harmful 血 fats.

In two large-規模 human 熟考する/考慮するs, people who took glucosamine lived longer than others ? but Dr Ristow said more 研究 is needed to 証明する its 有効性.

He 追加するd: ‘This may be considered a valid 選択, and yes, I have started taking glucosamine myself.

‘There is no 限定された proof of the 有効性 of glucosamine in humans.?

‘But the chances are good ? and since unlike most other 潜在的に lifespan-延長するing 麻薬s there are no known 関連した 味方する-影響s of glucosamine supplementation, I would tend to recommend this 補足(する).’

Dr Ristow advised people should take a daily tablespoon of glucosamine 砕く, mixed in water, or alternatively, 3g to 5g a day in 要約する/(宇宙ロケットの)カプセル form.

Diabetics should speak to their doctor first, and people with 貝類と甲殻類 アレルギーs, or those on the 血-thinning 麻薬 warfarin, should be 用心深い.

Professor Tim Spector, of King’s College London, agreed that glucosamine is 安全な.

He said: ‘If an even modest 影響 on ageing were proven it would be a major 前進する.

‘However, humans are not the same as worms or rodents and 熟考する/考慮するs will need careful replication before we get over-excited.’
