More than 600 students at the University of Derby have been put at risk of infection with HIV and hepatitis

More than 600 students at the University of Derby have been put at 危険 of 感染 with HIV and 肝炎

Six hundred students have been put at 危険 of HIV and 肝炎 because a healthcare 労働者 failed to followed 訂正する 臨床の 手続きs.

Past and 現在の students at the University of Derby - who had either ワクチン接種s or 血 実験（する）s - have been advised to …に出席する 審査s for the 感染s to 確実にする they have not been 感染させるd.

The advice was given after an 調査 was opened into the safety of 手続きs carried out by a member of staff who was 以前は 契約d to 供給する services within the Occupational Health Service at the university.

専門家s at NHS England have said the 活動／戦闘s of a healthcare 労働者 put students at 危険 of HIV and 肝炎 B and C.

This oversight occurred over a period of eight years putting 606 students at 危険.

The 影響する／感情d 患者s are those that were seen by the healthcare 労働者 between September 2005 and October 2013.

Dr Doug 黒人／ボイコット, 医療の Director, NHS England Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire said: ‘This 調査 has taken place as it is understood that, whilst 洗浄器／皮下注射／浣腸器 needles were always changed between 患者s, the 洗浄器／皮下注射／浣腸器 バーレル／樽s to which the needles attach were 存在 再使用するd in the 行政 of ワクチン接種s.

‘This also occurred during 血 taking, where a 選び出す／独身 use 支えるもの／所有者 for a 血 collection tube was 再使用するd but needles changed.

‘Therefore, there is an 極端に low 可能性 these errors may have put people at 危険 of 感染 from hep atitis B, 肝炎 C or HIV.

‘With this in mind, as a 警戒, we have reviewed all 利用できる university health 記録，記録的な／記録するs and the 606 people identified have all been 接触するd and 招待するd to …に出席する a 血 実験（する） at their 地元の hospital or 経由で their GP.’

‘As part of our 調査 the healthcare 労働者 伴う／関わるd has been 報告（する）／憶測d to the appropriate regulatory 団体／死体 and has been 一時停止するd, 未解決の その上の 調査.

‘We are working closely with the University of Derby and Public Health England to 解決する this 問題／発行する as quickly as possible.’
