It means more people will be 扱う/治療するd at home rather than in over-stretched A&E departments but 専門家s 警告する the 計画(する)s could put 患者s at 危険 if serious 条件s are misdiagnosed.
The shake-up is part of the seven-year 計画(する) for the 未来 of London 救急車 Service.
Under the new 計画/陰謀, paramedics will be 推定する/予想するd to …に出席する the 大多数 of 緊急 事例/患者s alone in cars.
支配(する)/統制する room staff will only automatically 派遣(する) an 救急車 と一緒に a car if it is obvious the 患者 will need to be 輸送(する)d on a 担架 or if the 状況/情勢 is dangerous
for the 乗組員.
But this is only 推定する/予想するd to happen in 10 per cent of most 事例/患者s.
At 現在の 救急車s are 派遣(する)d to almost all 999 calls and cars are sent to the most life-脅すing 事例/患者s to start 治療 before the 救急車 arrives.
Three-4半期/4分の1s of 患者s are taken to hospital.
The paper says more minor 傷害s should be 扱う/治療するd in the community or in the 患者’s own home, under the "care closer to home" 政策.
Health 専門家s said today they 恐れるd 患者s’ safety was 存在 overlooked for the sake of hitting 政府 的s.
Katherine Murphy, spokeswoman for the
患者s’ 協会, said: "This is about
hitting 的s and not about the needs or safety of the 患者. 貯金 the service
may have to make should not cost a 患者’s life."
A union 代表者/国会議員 told said: "We are happy the changes mean our members will be trained to a higher degree and paid accordingly.
"But where we have 関心s are over the safety of our members if the numbers of 救急車s
were 減ずるd and staff were left to …に出席する
dangerous 状況/情勢s alone."
It comes まっただ中に growing numbers of 出席s at A&E and 増加するing 圧力 on NHS 信用s to 削減(する) costs.
The paper from London 救急車 says such 圧力s means the 全労働人口 will only 増加する
marginally between now and 2012.
This means ーするために 会合,会う 返答 time 的s with a growing workload, paramedics must be 分裂(する) up from 二塁打 乗組員d 救急車s into one-man cars.
経営者/支配人s 否定するd the move was a cost-cutting 手段 and said 患者 care will not be 妥協d.
Ian Todd, assistant director of 操作/手術s at London 救急車 Service, said: "最終的に the 大多数 of our calls will not need an 救急車 派遣(する)d すぐに.
"More people will get a faster 返答 and that it is the thing they want. We 推定する/予想する to see a 重要な 増加する in the 患者s who don’t go anywhere at all."
An 概算の 10 per cent of 患者s are in a life-脅すing 条件, another 20 per cent are in no danger of dying but need 緊急の attention because they are in 苦痛 and the 残り/休憩(する) need telephone advice or attention 公正に/かなり quickly.
