But he argues many are 苦しむing from bowel 病気 which could be 扱う/治療するd on the NHS - if doctors were 用意が出来ている to do so.

Dr Wakefield, when working as a gastroenterologist at London's 王室の 解放する/自由な Hospital in 1998, carried out 研究 linking the jab for Measles, Mumps and Rubella with a new form of bowel 病気 and autism.

His (人命などを)奪う,主張するs have been 終始一貫して 拒絶するd by the Department of Health and other 団体/死体s, which say there has been no 独立した・無所属 確定/確認 of Dr Wakefield's findings.

Dr Wakefield, who 直面するs a General 医療の 会議 審理,公聴会 into his 行為/行う later this year, remains 納得させるd there is a link.

He is 演説(する)/住所ing a 会議/協議会 on autism in Bournemouth on Saturday which will hear stories of parents who have been 軍隊d to 飛行機で行く their 本気で ill children to the US to get 治療.

The families have sought help costing thousands of 続けざまに猛撃するs at a specialist centre in Texas where he now 作品.

About one in 100 children is thought to を煩う autism in the UK.

Dr Wakefield said "It shouldn't be necessary for children to come to America to get 治療s.

"There should be a 基準 of care 利用できる in the UK, but the 宣伝 surrounding the 研究 into this new bowel 病気 has concentrated on discrediting the science behind it.

"The truth is that our 熟考する/考慮する has now been replicated 一連の会議、交渉/完成する the world.

"It is not a psychiatric 病気 and it is not just a neurological 病気. It is a 病気 that 影響する/感情s the brain rather than 存在 簡単に a brain 病気.

"A lot of the children's behaviour is linked to the 苦痛 they 苦しむ.

"The changes we 設立する in the intestines of some autistic children can be 扱う/治療するd using diet or 従来の anti-inflammatory 麻薬s.

"When they are 扱う/治療するd, a lot of the 腸の and behavioural problems are 解決するd."

Heather Edwards said she had tried to get NHS doctors to 補助装置 her 14-year-old son Josh who was unable to eat without vomiting, and had had no solid food for eight months.

Heather, 39, who lives in Gosport, Hampshire, said "I was 長,率いるing for a nervous 決裂/故障. I was so upset trying to get 治療 for Josh, my GP 示唆するd I have counselling to を取り引きする the 強調する/ストレス."

The parents of Michael and Terry Thomas, 14 and 12, say their children 苦しむ with the new bowel 病気 autistic entercolitis discovered by Wakefield.

Terry, who has constant nausea, 苦痛 and tiredness was told by an NHS 顧問 that he had irritable bowel syndrome and should learn to live with the 苦痛.

In the US, doctors discovered abscesses, lesions and inflammation in his small and large intestines, while Michael also had 内部の inflammation.

In Josh's 事例/患者, US doctors discovered 類似の problems.

The parents believe their children's problems were 原因(となる)d by the MMR but say it has been a 障壁 to them getting 効果的な 治療.

"As soon as you について言及する the MMR, the 障壁s come 負かす/撃墜する," said Mrs Edwards.

She raised £8,000 to 飛行機で行く Josh to the 明言する/公表するs where he, Michael and Terry were 実験(する)d at The Thoughtful House Centre for Children in Texas, an organisation run by four doctors - 含むing Dr Krigsman, an associate professor at New York University, and Dr Wakefield.

Josh had problems 得るing the 権利 医薬, but i s now taking powerful liquid steroids.

"For the first time in two years I only have to get out of bed once a night," said Mrs Edwards.

Michael has been on anti-inflammatory 麻薬s for over three months.

Mrs Thomas, who lives in London and paid £7,000 to take her sons to Texas, said "the school have noticed a big 改良 in Michael's mood.

"He seems much happier and he says he's in いっそう少なく 苦痛.

"Terry has also been on anti-inflammatory 麻薬s but is not really showing any 改良. If this doesn't work we'll have to start the 戦う/戦い again."
