Man 診断するd with first ever British 事例／患者 of 'untreatable' tuberculosis 緊張する

A 患者 has been 診断するd with what is believed to be the first ever British 事例／患者 of a 事実上 untreatable 緊張する of tuberculosis.

The man - believed to be a Somali in his 30s - is in 孤立／分離 at a hospital and 存在 扱う／治療するd with a 幅の広い spectrum of 抗生物質s in a 企て，努力，提案 to 支配（する）／統制する the 病気.

This is the first time a 患者 has been 診断するd and 扱う／治療するd for the extreme 麻薬-抵抗力のある XDR-TB 緊張する, which could kill half of those 感染させるd.

TB 麻薬 抵抗 has been 増加するing in the UK, に引き続いて a 類似の 世界的な 傾向, with the World Health Organisation 警告 that more needs to be done to 戦闘 the 病気.

Tuberculosis is an 空輸の 病気 which is spread though の近くに 接触する with other people.

Professor Peter Davis, a Liverpool 顧問 and 長官 of TB 警報 in the UK said: "XDR-TB is an 極端に serious form of TB. We are aware that it is やめる 流布している in other parts of the world, Because our country is no longer separated from 病気 by the channel, we have got to be aware of it."

A 広報担当者 for Gartnavel General Hospital said last night: "We can 確認する a 事例／患者 of 麻薬-抵抗力のある tuberculosis is 存在 扱う／治療するd at the hospital.

"We are in touch with all の近くに 接触するs of the 患者, and where appropriate they will be 審査するd.

"The 緊張する is not any more 感染性の than normal TB. he main 関心 is that it is 抵抗力のある to 抗生物質s, which makes it much harder to 扱う／治療する."

A 世界保健機構 広報担当者 said the first 事例／患者 of XDR-TB was 報告（する）／憶測d in March 2006 after 研究員s discovered an 現れるing 全世界の 脅し of 高度に 抵抗力のある TB 緊張するs.

関心s were 高くする，増すd six months later by a cluster of "事実上 untreatable" XDR-TB 事例／患者s in an area of South Africa with high prevalence of HIV.

All but one of the 53 患者s died in an 普通の／平均（する） of 25 days after 見本s were taken for 麻薬 抵抗 実験（する）s.
