Sperm 寄付 after death should be 許すd in the UK to plug growing gap in 供給(する)s, say scientists
- Sperm can be taken from dead men by 外科 or zapping the prostate???
- 研究 shows it can still 原因(となる) pregnancy even if taken two days after death
- Scientists said it would be 'morally 許容できる' if the man 同意d in life?
Fertility clinics should be 許すd to take sperm from dead men 同様に as 受託するing 寄付s from living people, scientists argue.
組織/臓器 寄付 is already 普及した and, from April, everyone in England will automatically become an 組織/臓器 寄贈者.
Sperm can ? and should ? be 寄付するd in the same way, によれば 専門家s from the University of Leicester and Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester.
A dead man's sperm has been proven to still be able to impregnate a woman if it's taken even two days after he has died.
And collecting the sex 独房s could help to plug a short 供給(する) of 寄付するd sperm and help more people to have babies, the 研究員s said.
But critics have 述べるd the idea as 'impractical' and ありそうもない to 上げる the number of 寄贈者s.??

Two 研究員s in the UK said it would help to fill gaps in the availability of 寄贈者 sperm if it could be taken from men after they had died (在庫/株 image of human sperm under a microscope)
The (人命などを)奪う,主張する was made by Dr Nathan Hodson, from the University of Leicester, and Dr Joshua Parker, from Wythenshawe Hospital.?
They wrote: 'If it is morally 許容できる that individuals can 寄付する their tissues to relieve the suffe (犯罪の)一味 of others in "life 高めるing 移植(する)s" for 病気s, we see no 推論する/理由 this cannot be 延長するd to other forms of 苦しむing like infertility, which may or may not also be considered a 病気.'
Dr Hodson and Dr Parker said it could be 'cumbersome' to 寄付する sperm while living and that men might be more willing to have it done to them after they have died.
If a man is dead his sperm can be surgically 除去するd from the testicles or taken by 'electroejaculation' ? electrically 刺激するing the prostate to 誘発する/引き起こす ejaculation.
Electroejaculation is already used to try and 扱う/治療する men who are unable to ejaculate, and also to take semen 見本s from animals.
If a man 寄付するs sperm while he's alive he will usually have to masturbate at a clinic and collect his semen in a beaker.
Men do not get paid for 寄付するing sperm in the UK, and any children they father are 許すd 接近 to their 指名する, date of birth and home 演説(する)/住所 on turning 18.
寄贈者 sperm was used more than 2,200 times in the UK in 2016, the 熟考する/考慮する 明らかにする/漏らすd, and in the same year between 30,000 and 60,000 children were born from 寄付するd sperm in the US.
But the UK is so short of sperm 寄付s it 輸入するs thousands of semen 見本s from abroad every year ? some 3,000 from Denmark and 4,000 from the US, によれば the 政府.?
寄贈者 sperm is used either in IVF or a 過程 called intrauterine insemination, in which the sperm is 注入するd into the woman's vagina as it would be during sex.
Dr Hodson and Dr Parker said sperm taken after death would have health checks done to make sure it was healthy and the 遺伝子s were 許容できる.
They 追加するd: 'Living sperm 寄付 remains uncommon の中で British men.
'This may be because of the loss of 寄贈者 anonymity and the 需要・要求するs of 寄付するing sperm which 含む health 実験(する)s, counselling and intimate discussions, and travel to clinics to make 寄付s 週刊誌 for three to six months.
'There are 障壁s to 寄付するing sperm in life that may 妨げる some men 事実上の/代理 on their 願望(する) to help others or see their 遺伝子s continue into 未来 世代s through 寄付.
'Posthumous sperm 寄付 避けるs most of these problems, 許すing men to 接近 the 肯定的なs of sperm 寄付 without th e drawbacks.'
専門家s in the field, however, were unconvinced.
Dr Virginia Bolton, treasurer at the British Fertility Society, said: 'This approach is at best impractical, and at worst likely to 産する/生じる a ごくわずかの number of new sperm 寄贈者s.?
'What we would like to see is a 決定するd and 現実主義の dedication of 適する 資源s に向かって publicising the need for sperm 寄贈者s, and に向かって making it 平易な for 可能性のある 寄贈者s to understand how to make their generous gift a reality.'
Professor Allan Pacey, from the University of Sheffield, said he felt 'very uncomfortable' with the idea and that living 寄贈者s should be prioritised.
'This is a very 井戸/弁護士席 argued paper but one that I find myself 堅固に 同意しないing with,' he said.
'Given the distance we have travelled ーに関して/ーの点でs of 新採用するing 寄贈者s who are willing to be identified to 寄贈者 conceived people, it feels like a backward step to then 新採用する 寄贈者s who are dead and therefore they will never have the 適切な時期 to 会合,会う.??
'I’d much rather that we 投資するd our energy in trying to 新採用する younger, healthy, willing 寄贈者s who stand a good chance of 存在 alive when the 寄贈者 conceived person starts to become curious about them, and would have the 適切な時期 to make 接触する with them without the 援助(する) of a spiritualist.'
