Twenty-five thousand 操作／手術s are cancelled every year because hospitals are so 十分な, an 調査 by The Mail on Sunday has 設立する.

The Mail on Sunday calculated around 25,000 planned 操作／手術s were cancelled 予定 to bed 不足s last year, after sending Freedom of （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） requests to England's 153 NHS hospital 信用s.

He needed 外科 on a 漏れるing heart 弁, which had been scheduled to take place at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth, on January 5, 2015.

But it was cancelled after the hospital was put on '黒人／ボイコット 警報' ? meaning bed capacity had been reached. The 手続き was 繰り延べるd for a fortnight later. However, by then the 警報 was still in 軍隊, and the second date duly cancelled.

Mr Bonehill, 65, of St Ives, Cornwall, who played a stormtrooper in The Empire Strikes 支援する, smuggler Nien Nunb in Return Of The Jedi and appeared in Doctor Who, was 設立する dead in February.

Dr Ha ssan said the findings '絶対 support' the belief that a scarcity of beds is at the heart of the NHS's problems.?

癌 患者 Bruce Knight was all ready to go into theatre when he was told: 'Sorry, there's no bed 解放する／自由な.'

The 74-year-old had needed an 緊急の 操作／手術 for a tumour in his 膵臓, and was 調書をとる／予約するd in for 外科 at University Hospital Coventry on January 18 this year.

His wife, Val, pictured 権利 with Bruce, explained: 'Bruce was ready, he had his gown on, he'd spoken to the 外科医.?

Then the anaesthetist （機の）カム in and told him sorry but the 操作／手術 would be cancelled as there weren't enough beds in the high dependency 部隊.'?

The couple then had to 耐える an agonising wait to see if the eight-hour 操作／手術 could be 繰り延べるd in the 権利 'time window' to fit in with his other 癌 治療.

It was 結局 rebooked for February and doctors discovered they could not 除去する the tumour in any 事例／患者. Mrs Knight explained: 'They said the 放射線療法 and chemotherapy had 基本的に bound it in place. But Bruce is 改善するing.'
