Oh what a catch! Just after Rahane had got himself on the Lord's honours board, he's gone and the ground are on their feet once again. His 103 consisted of 15 4s and one six.

Plenty of accent on Plunkett this evening - he has bowled just the 12 overs today and should be fresher if his 脚 isn't 原因（となる）ing him 苦痛. The bowler a little too enthusiastic on the third 配達／演説／出産 and is 警告するd by the umpire for the 高さ of the ball. There have been plenty of short balls by Plunkett in this series. Ben Stokes comes 支援する on in place of Jimmy Anderson, who, as he has so often done in the past, made a 決定的な 打開. Stokes might have had more reward today and will be keen to get stuck into the tail. Nothing to trouble Kumar, who hasn't shown any 神経s since coming in. Maiden over.

With the uncharacteristically green-tinged pitch continuing to 申し込む／申し出 lavish 援助 to England’s seam bowlers, Jimmy Anderson, Stuart 幅の広い and Ben Stokes all snared 犠牲者s after lunch while part-time off-spinner Moeen Ali also （人命などを）奪う，主張するd Ravi Jadeja’s wicket.

The tourists reached tea on 140-6 after 存在 put in to bat by England captain Alastair Cook, whose bowlers produced a much-改善するd 陳列する，発揮する in the middle 開会／開廷／会期 に引き続いて their lacklustre morning’s 成果／努力s.

But this really is a good pitch to bowl on so it could be a day or so before we see 伝統的な Lord's 条件s. Ali trying to unsettle Dhoni but the Indian 船長／主将 too experienced for that, fending off everything that comes his way in another maiden.

Paul Newman: Must 自白する I'm baffled as to why Moeen Ali is bowling now. Having believed that Alastair Cook has under-used Moeen all summer now I feel he's bowling him at the wrong time! This is a moment. This needs to be 掴むd. BRING ON ANDERSON.

And instead of Anderson, it will be 幅の広い 取って代わるing Stokes at the other end. The bowler looks up for it and Dhoni, still not off the 示す, goes wandering two foot outside of off stump. Now, he might be 権利 for all I know, but there are a lot of people who believe Dhoni is 原因（となる）ing trouble and trying to get Anderson banned from this series. Yes! Wonderful stuff as Ben Stokes sends the stumps clattering and India are in trouble now. Plunkett somehow doesn't look as dangerous as he did this morning. There wasn't even a trace of a 脅し in that over and he looks drained. The pace was 権利 負かす／撃墜する in the low eighties. Luckily for him, it's the drinks break.

The stands slowly filling 支援する to capacity as the punters finish their Lord's lunches. Anderson still not finding that 十分な length that might 軍隊 an 辛勝する／優位 - disappointing from England's 主要な man and he looks a little 困らすd by it. Pujara rubs it in by grabbing two off the final 配達／演説／出産.

England finally got the bowler-friendly pitch they have craved all summer but still failed to 支配する India’s batsmen on the first morning of the second Investec 実験（する） at Lord’s.

With the lead up to the 実験（する） 支配するd by a first 実験（する） fracas between Jimmy Anderson and Ravi Jadeja – 主要な to ICC 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金s for both – and Gary Balance’s ill-裁判官d 地位，任命する-match foray to a Nottingham nightclub, it was 平易な to forget that a match was about to take place.

But as England’s under-圧力 captain Alastair Cook made his way to the middle for the 投げ上げる／ボディチェックする, his 焦点（を合わせる） was on winning the 実験（する） match, 得点する／非難する／２０ing runs in the match, and 緩和するing some of the 圧力 which has 機動力のある since the 悲惨な Ashes winter.

Kohli wasting little time in getting bedding in, knocking a couple through midwicket and then 派遣（する）ing a very poor Plunkett ball for FOUR 負かす／撃墜する to 罰金 脚. Anderson then does brilliantly to sprint and chase 負かす／撃墜する a lovely 発射 that look bound for the 境界. He 削減（する）s it off and they get three.

Stokes mops his brow. The heat of the midday sun （警官の）巡回区域，受持ち区域ing 負かす／撃墜する, not too much cloud cover. Nice 発射 through the off 味方する gets Virat Kohli off and running with a FOUR. Can England snaffle him out before lunch? That would truly make it their morning.

Paul Newman: At last! England should have done a lot better this morning but at least they have a second wicket and Gary Ballance has a second good catch. His night out in Nottingham doesn't seem to have 影響する／感情d his fielding anyway. Now it's time for the immensely gifted but under-達成するing, at 実験（する） level at least, Virat Kohli. India's best two batsmen are at the crease now.

Cook, Anderson and 幅の広い were just shown looking a little worried and regretful. Should there have been more wickets this morning? Almost certainly yes. But this will definitely 元気づける them up. Paul Newman: England are really wasting an 適切な時期 here. They have not bowled 井戸／弁護士席 enough. They are not making the batsmen playing enough. It would have flown straight to third slip. Questions over Cook's field placements again, which have 固執するd all summer. The second last ball, an inswinger, （警官の）巡回区域，受持ち区域s Vijay's bat and strikes high on the pad. Looked to be going 井戸／弁護士席 over but hawkeye 示唆するs さもなければ.

Alastair Cook just using his finger to dislodge something stuck in his teeth. Strangely it makes him look thoughtful but he's not thought yet to tell Anderson to bowl fuller. Pujara has plenty of time to watch the trajectory and leave alone. Except the last one, when he 封鎖するs a ball with a better length. He's masterful at getting the ball to zip around, it's deceptive stuff and Vijay is content to leave 井戸／弁護士席 alone. Another maiden.

Paul Newman: This has been a poor start from Stuart 幅の広い. He just hasn't made the batsmen play enough. It's been a bit better from Jimmy Anderson but these two 港／避難所't bowled anywhere 近づく 同様に as they did on the last morning at Trent 橋（渡しをする） yet. There is plenty there for them. It's a question of not getting carried away now and putting it in the 権利 places. Anderson rampaging in, meaning 商売／仕事, his quiff swept 負かす／撃墜する across his forehead. Pujara content to let it 飛行機で行く by, another maiden over interrupted only by a few of the MCC members moving in the batsman's line of sight. Sit 負かす／撃墜する!

幅の広い bowling it 井戸／弁護士席 outside off - too wide in all honesty - until a 劇の change on the last one 軍隊s an outside 辛勝する／優位 from Vijay. 事前の dives all his length but can't take it. An 適切な時期 but a hard one to take. 肯定的な from England.

早期に 打開 for England! Anderson, pumped up, finds plenty of movement まっただ中に the 青葉 in his second over and, with a ball that pitches outside 脚 stump, Dhawan was 軍隊d to play as it （機の）カム 支援する across him and nicks it to Ballance at third slip. Lovely low catch.

Shikwar Dhawan is a destructive talent but he's not comfortable against the moving ball and there's a lot of movement out there! Our man Nasser Hussain fully 支援するs the 決定／判定勝ち（する） to 挿入する India. 'Cook had to,' says Nasser. 'The pitch will only get better so he might 同様に take advantage of whatever's there this morning.' Paul Newman: 井戸／弁護士席, that's the first talking point of the morning. Alastair Cook has won the 投げ上げる／ボディチェックする and will bowl. Yes it's as green as Gary Ballance's gills after a night out but I reckon that's a good 投げ上げる／ボディチェックする to lose for MS Dhoni.

外見s could be deceptive here. I reckon we might have a lively first half and then a very good batting pitch. It's asking a lot of England's bowlers too. They have had a 激しい workload in this series.

History tells you the pitch here gets better for batting as the match goes on and spin does not usually play a big part. Fascinating to see what happens now. All 注目する，もくろむs on Jimmy Anderson when England bowl.

England, who have 指名するd an 不変の team, have put India in. Captain Alastair Cook believes there is plenty in the pitch for his attack. 'Anderson will be desperate to let his cricket do the talking,' he says.

As Nasser Hussain says in today's Mail he is one of the nicest guys away from the 活動／戦闘 you will ever 会合，会う. And he recognises that he dishes out the 言葉のs on the field and never complains when he gets plenty 支援する, like when Michael Clarke said he 手配中の，お尋ね者 to 'break his f****** arm.'

But physical 接触する is a 広大な／多数の／重要な タブー in cricket. It cannot be 許すd to happen. We shall know today who the judicial commissioner will be who will hear the 事例／患者. The word is he's an Australian. Not sure if that's good or bad for England!

There was nothing to divide these two teams in Nottingham last week as batsmen 支配するd and bowlers toiled on a lifeless pitch.

The only thing to really raise the 気温 were the feats of the tail-enders, 顕著に Joe Root and James Anderson's 記録，記録的な／記録する-breaking stand.
