Paul Farbrace believes Jason Roy's dazzling white-ball form has propelled the opener into 論争 for the Ashes.

The former England assistant coach was 十分な of 賞賛 for Roy's brilliant 153 against Bangladesh in Cardiff on Saturday, the fifth time in six one-day international innings he has passed fifty.

Farbrace, speaking to BBC's 実験（する） Match Special, said: 'Roy could easily open for England in the Ashes, he has shown his temperament has changed. At the beginning, he was looking to be playing big 発射s all the time but he has 円熟したd as a person and a player and I think he has got the 能力s to play 実験（する） cricket.

'The 選択s he takes now are so much smarter. If he continues to play as he is, the Ashes are very much in reach for him.'
