That's enough basking in World Cup glory, it's Ashes time. That was the message when England 指名するd three 可能性のある debutants ― Jason Roy, 吊りくさび Gregory and Olly 石／投石する ― for an 就任の 実験（する） against Ireland that is essentially practice for the big one against Australia.

It is a pity a ridiculously gruelling schedule ― five Ashes 実験（する）s will be crammed into just over six weeks ― does not 許す the country to relish the barely believable World Cup final for longer, but such is the game's obsession with packed programmes.

It is almost as if Ireland, who England 直面する in a four-day 実験（する） starting at Lord's next Wednesday, are a necessary nuisance to get out of the way as all thoughts and planning are 存在 geared to the first Ashes 実験（する） at Edgbaston on August 1.
